What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

Today it's my Ken Erickson 3.5 EDC Trapper - a perfect EDC!

I'm going to be carrying my Kabar jack today. After my sharpening session it is wonderfully sharp. Also carrying that same peanut today as well.

One of my Grandpa's knives. I can remember this one slicing the scotch tape on Christmas wrapping so he could save the wrapping paper for next year.

I forget how much I like this Norfolk. I'll have to carry it more often.

I posted a picture earlier today on the Case CV vs other steel thread, so there's really no reason to post the same picture.

Its too dark to take a picture now, so all I can do is type it.

A CV Large Case Stockman.

Not sure which model number, but...ahhh what the heck.

Maybe some of you saw this picture already, but this is all I have:

Starting tomorrow I am going to try and carry this same knife, plus a Vic Classic, a Skeetool and my SS Medium Amber Bone Stickman (Med Stockman in Left Rear Pocket).

I really respect the way that things used to be done and kind of try to idolize that way of life.

Sadly, all I can really do is carry a pocket knife or two that were designed in that day and age and maybe someday smoke a pipe instead of cigarettes, but I can only imagine the time and how nice it would have been to be able to see a 1966 Fastback GT Mustang right on the lot.

Life just seems like it would have been a lot simpler-thats why I like this part of the forum.

Sorry for the long post, just find old times a bit fascinating. Im sorry I couldnt be a part of that era.

I can't seem to let go of this one...

She's just so perfect! Great size (just disappears in the pocket, while still being large enough to handle most things), ideal blade selection (between the clip and the wharncliffe, she'll cut anything, anywhere, anyhow), gorgeous stag handles, and conjures up nice memories. :)

That's some nice looking bone on that peanut.

Cam.

Thanks. It's what they call burnt white bone. I liked the effect, so bought it. I also like the nail nick on that knife better than the current location. It's definitely a nice little knife.

I'm carrying the Kabar and the peanut again today. - Ed
