What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

An A. G. Russell lock-back "Beak" Hawkbill pruner.

I find it does all me EDC chores quite nicely, and with just the right amount of flair.:D

I had been carrying a Case Swayback Gent but since my new Alsdorf Teardrop Jack arrived in today's mail ........ :)

Case/Bose Tribal Spear once again today. I can't seem to keep this knife out of my pocket lately! Cuts like crazy after fixing a nasty burr that it came from the factory with.

It should definitely make short work of the wayward fingernail!!! :)

That's a really beautiful knife. I can see EDC'ing that one.

Great swayback, Gary. I wish Ohta still made them with reasonable regularity. I haven't seen a new one in years.

Believe it or not, I carried my Case CV Large Stockman, my Case SS Medium Stockman in my back pocket with my handkerchief. These two were kept company with my Kershaw Skyline and Leatherman Skeletool CX. Way too much for the pockets IMO. For sure going to be lighter tomorrow.

The last two were not traditional style-no, but I think that at least for the Kershaw, its going to be hard to let go and carry only a traditional or two, having carried that style of knife for over 2 years non-stop.

Ill do it though, I know that much because I didnt need to use anything but my traditional knives today.

Ill try to get some time set aside for posting a couple of pictures of those Stockmans tomorrow. The SS Medium has interesting-colored scales that I think you guys may want to see. Maybe not, but we'll see.

This Alsdorf is just calling to me! I need to get one on order quick!

I am very pleased with this knife. Next up for me is an ironwood slimline trapper from Mike. Guess which knife I have in pocket today? ;)

Just got my new Case G10 Moose yesterday. I think we bonded already ;).
Surprised this pattern is not more popular.
Feeling the love for Bradford PA today.

queen canoe, again and again
it's one of those I want to carry and use, to test how it is and how well it works
it has something that makes it slide in my pocket every time, thumbs up
oh and mine is really high quality, really high
only "flaw" is a small chi of the bone next to one of the pins, minor flaw actually and the only one

Here are the promised pictures:

The whole pocket dump was taken yesterday. As you can see, I managed to carry two traditional folders along with regular stuff.

For today, I only carried the Orange Medium for half of the day and then the Large CV for the last half.

Only 5 knives? I think you're slacking off a bit. :p

I carried this one yesterday. It's a Queen/Dan Burke large barlow that Don Seals rescaled with maroon micarta and added a lanyard tube to. This is one tough knife.
