What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

I got up at the crack of dawn to head to the lake. The lake is at maximum level and running over the spillway at the dam. Caught four nice bass this morning, but, no pics to prove it.

Sounds like my fishin' stories. Less evidence to countermand my "elaborations". :)

It is indeed familiar Tim. A duplicate has been known to happen here and there.

Hope you enjoy it Rachel. My twin 92's patina is entirely from steak. It makes for a nice bluish purplish effect.

,

Both of them are very nice !!!!! Thanks for showing some more Northwoods. I may have to adjust my original thoughts on what I would collect.

Some equilibrium for ya'll. Figured out yesterday how to carry a fixie on my new riding boots. Pretty comfy, going to dye the sheath black for lower profile.
For the guys who are interested in coins Primble, half/stop :D, got this beautiful custom hobo mercury dime ring done by a moto friend/maker.

Great looking dime ring and boots. Like the Viper too ! I burned my leg on some Screamin Eagles a few years back. Those boots would have prevented that.

Beautiful knife and sheath Gevo ! Is the sheath a new addition ? Looks like Al's handi-work!:)

Thank you, Sir! No sir, it was made by Al specifically for the back pocket, years back now ( my how time flys). It was all planned in secret and a gift from Pete ( our wilderness utopia brother:D)

And...It sure felt good to carry this rig today!! Thanks to Kris, Al, and Pete!!

Ron
Missed your post earlier and wanted to thank you kind sir!!

So many great knives posted today!! Thanks for sharing everyone!!!

Nice Ka-Bar Coppersmith Brother Jim, need to jump the gun on one of those, it patinas nicely I imagine.

Thank you Primble, yeah the pipes get hott, my sister had the unfortunate experience of leaning her leg up against some back when she was a kid on my grandmother's bike.

Thanks Tim !!!

I've seen some on here with nice patinas but mine are still pretty pristine. Often I will hold and idly rub a pocket knife ... kinda like a worry stone or something LOL. That probably has something to do with the lack of patina.

I have a copper Zippo (2003) with a patina, but I don't rub it like I do pocket knives. I think patinas are beautiful. It'll happen when it happens. I'm not inclined to force a patina on the Coppersmiths or any pocket knife I have.
