What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

Thanks Tim !!!

I've seen some on here with nice patinas but mine are still pretty pristine. Often I will hold and idly rub a pocket knife ... kinda like a worry stone or something LOL. That probably has something to do with the lack of patina.

I have a copper Zippo (2003) with a patina, but I don't rub it like I do pocket knives. I think patinas are beautiful. It'll happen when it happens. I'm not inclined to force a patina on the Coppersmiths or any pocket knife I have.

Thanks for the photos Jim, I've been really wanting one of their 3" single blade slipjoint trappers for the steel but it seems that this might not happen now. Great photo of the two, my copper maratac flashlight patinas like crazy, my brass zippo on the other hand is less inclined.

Up early today for a stroll before the day starts, illumination required with the Dowell

What a looker Gary! I may have to search for one of them!

Thanks, I highly recommend that one, the engraving is deep and provides not only a great look, but some nice texture as well, plus, it sharpened up so very nicely!

Nice one Tim. Still took some doing to get a shot like that with the maratac going.

Agreed!! Beautiful!
Handsome knife there !

I'll be carrying the whittler until this afternoon when I'll be knifeless, going to Indy for a concert. I have to remind myself to leave it in the car, I hate having to walk back to the car and I've had to do that many times!:o

David....those Lambertson knives are awesome! I knew you'd like it bud!

Tim...I love that shot with the light on, especially since you're carrying the Dowell!

Lots of riding this weekend at Erie's Bike Week.

The Days Work spey was complaining that the New Day was getting all the pocket time; so after he put his two cents worth in, I told him could ride along over the weekend.

:D:D:D Have a great time Mark ! :)

Some great stuff today! Me and the TC have business to attend to today. Love the patina forming on blades, bolsters, and springs.

Trying my original cap lifter today as a snuff scoop...some interesting photos here reminded me of the dry snuff my great-grandpa used before his passing in the early 80s and it dawned on me that I'd never tried it myself...so across the pond it came!
