What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

Will and Ron, sweet looking cranberries. Rob, you did great on the Bloodwood Gun Scout. Hard to believe it could be made to look better!

I'm carrying my latest, a Talon.

GEC Sodbuster and Case Texas Jack

Love the KSF pocket sheath can get a small pen knife, AAA light and sometimes a pen or a larger knife and a pen, very versatile accessory for keeping small loose stuff from floating around in your pocket

I do a similar lanyard, except try one thing finish it with a diamond lanyard knot

Lately I do a diamond on the bale to start, then a few snakes, and finish with a diamond, the diamond is a great looking knot and easy after a bit of practice, finally got where can do them from memory without watching the step by step each time

I'll have to try that. I follow a guy on YT that does some interesting knots.

Many thanks everybody for the Cranberry comments. They're healthy dried too, tasty:thumbup:

Fine Smooth Autumn Bone on that Wall St. Bro.Jim. It's GEC's best lockback, so far....:D

Regards, Will

Sorry if it's against the rules to post the same thing in two different threads.
I originally meant to post here but got a little quick on the reply button on the Sunday thread.

Anyway, carried these two today.

So am I :D:thumbup: But I'm in the minority over the question of the lanyard hole, on a small LB I think it would've been better to leave it off.

Thanks, Will

Will and Ron

jd - Thanks for the compliment :) This is a Great Eastern Tidioute, Model 481115, Buckeye Trapper, Cranberry Jig Bone. Good luck finding a single, some dealers still have the double blade models.

Will and Ron, sweet looking cranberries.

I'm carrying my latest, a Talon.

Thanks Dean - That is a nice Talon :)

...Thanks so much GT, now those are a couple of knives to be proud of. Very nice:thumbup: I hope you have a great vacation. I remember (through all your great photos) your last one in Spain. :D
...
...Beautiful 77 by Mark there GT that and the 85 is amazing
Thanks for the compliments and vacation well-wishes, Jack, Erik, Primble, Dave, and Tim! :) The incredible jigged covers on the forum knife is more of Markesharp's fantastic work, and the buffalo 85 has EO notch and reprofiled secondary blade by Paul Hilborn.:thumbup: Thanks again, Paul and Mark!

This feather weight today.
...
I think you've said that's your first Opinel, right, Brett? What are your initial impressions?

These two are accompanying me to Grand Prarie Knives this morning.

Unclepapa and Tom, those are pretty perfect pairs you each have!:cool:

You didn't have to flip the sheath just for me. [emoji13]

Stag Saturday...
Harry
Stunning stag, Harry!:thumbup::thumbup: You'd think I'd be getting used to the stag 73s you and several others post frequently here, but each time one shows up is quite breath-taking for me! :D

I'm probably repeating myself, but you sure have some very desirable old pocket knives, Gev!:cool::thumbup:

...Just hanging out with the family. The kids are loving the horses.

Chris
And the horses are loving the Cadet, I'll bet! :p:p

A Case 63032 CV in Chestnut bone. Great combination of blade shapes and at 3 5/8", my favorite length.
...
Extraordinary knife, Frank; splendid chestnut bone!:thumbup:

Up early for some adventures, made sandwiches and coffee, about to step out of the door when the heavens opened, been the story of this English summer so far (and worse in Scotland I hear) :( I'm going to put the radio on and drink my coffee, might go for a Sunday pint later. Have a great day everyone

Got this old Carl Schlieper, gifted to me by Duncan, with me today, and one of the New Day Barlows I received from Charlie in the week :)
...
Even on a dreary day, you must have a sunny disposition, Jack, carrying those great knives from nice people! (Nice knives from great people?):thumbup::)

All I'll be carrying this week is a little Vik classic I'm borrowing from my mom while in NYC.
Have a great weekend and week, everybody.
Have fun in NYC, Rachel! A Vic Classic is almost all you need sometimes. ;);)

...Sunday carry :-)
Great to see your "new" Imperials working for you already!:cool:

I'm less than 50 feet from Lake Huron, so I HAD to take a canoe pattern with me. Furthermore, the area where we'll be for the next 2 weeks has a long hunting tradition, so I thought I should take my knives with brand names connected to hunting.

Not at all! We're here to share these knives together; the more pictures, the better. :)

(Would you believe that not everyone reads every thread. :D)

Anyway, carried these two today.

Beautiful knives, those. The TC in white bone is an abiding stunner.

What is the make of the tortoise shell knife? Are the covers original? Very fine.
