What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

Sorry if it's against the rules to post the same thing in two different threads.
I originally meant to post here but got a little quick on the reply button on the Sunday thread.

Anyway, carried these two today.

LOVE that white bone TC - never seen one of those until now. with single sheepsfoot blade? damn!

Thanks for the nice comments.

The tortoise is a, "KEEN KUTTER", faux tortoise.

Ken K.

if you ever decided to get rid of that white bone TC - I'll make a trip to Eastern Canada to go pick it up ;) (actually that's where I'm from originally so I'd have a reason to visit my parents ;))

This #8 Opinel Garden knife has been in my pocket this afternoon. I used it to trim some vines. Like all Opinels, it is very comfortable in the hand. I find the blade shape to be more useful for gardening than the standard Opinel shape. The pointed blade allows you to reach into a bush and nip just the branches you want.

Since I bought this from Mike, I don't feel bad about borrowing his picture...

Nice pair Paul. Do you use the Lime Cutter other than in the kitchen ??? Are you still having your shoulder done in August ?

Harry

Thank you, it's a real favourite of mine :) Great job on that Scout

Thanks Jack. :D

Will and Ron, sweet looking cranberries. Rob, you did great on the Bloodwood Gun Scout. Hard to believe it could be made to look better!

I'm carrying my latest, a Talon.]

Thank you Dean. Great 92 !;):D

99 WALLSTREET

Harry, thank you. I haven't used the Lime Cutter for its intended purpose yet:o I've used it more as a utility knife in the short time I've had it. Cut down a ton of heavy cardboard that sofas and loveseat are shipped in, loose carpet thread that wreaks havoc on vacuums etc...

I do have shoulder surgery scheduled for my left shoulder in a little more than three weeks. Issues may arise though because my pre-op appt may not fall within the recommended thirty days prior to the surgery?:( there ALWAYS seems to be a hiccup with anything pertaining to our medical system...a whole different discussion right there;)

@ Rob, Thanks Rob, I'm looking forward to your knife pictures from the rendevous:thumbup: Sounds like a terrific time...wish I could join you and the others:cool: HEY, I could pick up Mark:D

HEY, I could pick up Mark:D

I was thinking that the other day. Why don't you? I would love to see the both of you there.:thumbup::D

Mark was making all kinds of excuses last night when he called me. :grumpy:

He said they need him really bad at work, his car is old, his cat might miss him, etc., etc. !:rolleyes::rolleyes:

I think, in reality, he is chicken to drive that far on the Interstate at night by himself. Please pick him up and protect him Paul ! ;):D:D
