Bark River City Knife and a custom SAK (main blade, electricians blade, caplifter, can opener and philips head screwdriver).

Really like your City knives Tom, great custom SAK as well:cool::thumbup:

Great "ready for anything" pairing:)

Spent the weekend at the family Lodge which overlooks this small Creek that I played in as a little kid. It was much bigger back then ;)

Thanks Paul, much appreciated! :)

Who did the work on your SAK? I have a few I would like that done to. has it been hard anodized as well?

CROWEMAG it has not been hard anodized, forum member Syph007 customized it for me. Search for his username and you should find a thread he has here with a ton of pics. His work is top notch :).

Jut found the thread. Oh my. You are going to get me in trouble with the wife on this one. He does amazing work and soooo many useful options. gosh darn.

I just finished cleaning and sharpening this little Boker USA.
I'm entertaining the idea of having the plastic covers replaced by something nicer like black ebony. Or stag? Or bone? Or.........???

I spent about three hours on the Fish Barlow, making it mine, with my favorite (by hand) steel finish. Mark built me an extremely well built knife, but, stopped short of a final finish and I immediately knew why. He knows the recipient well. ;):) I de-horned it on the back springs and liners and there is not one sharp line left on the knife, other than a crisp swedge and a very sharp blade edge. I can run my fingers around the back springs and liners and it feels and looks like frosted glass. The bone is totally flush to the liners and spring.

Mark had told me before sending it to me, that he was a little disappointed with the Fish Barlows, but, I am having a hard time understanding why he felt that way. The action on the blade feels like a Case/Bose knife to me. Mark knows I don't like visible pivot pins and he took care of that before the knife ever got to me. Tight fit of bone to bolster, hammered pins, wonderful bone detailing, etc. It is hard for me to believe that this was his first adventure into a knife from scratch. As I took my walk today, the sun was shining bright and I opened the blade and held the knife up to my eye to block the sun and it was just totally dark inside the liners. The knife feels really solid and about the same weight as the Keen Kutter beside it. I thought the time invested was more than worth while and simply the icing on an already wonderful cake.

I de-glossed the Keen Kutter blades and bolster a bit and got the pivot pin to disappear.

Thank you again my friend !:thumbup::)

Great Bokers today Rachel !:thumbup::)

That's a nice old Boker Rachel. It sure would look nice with a new set of clothes. :D
I had this similar old Camillus with Delrin covers. I had Markesharp recover it with some beautiful Cocobolo. Mark did a nice job.

Rob those are two beauties. I love the Primblized look.
Mark does beautiful work and I would be proud to own a Fish Barlow.

I think they look fantastic!! That does it...I'm sending all my old knives to you to eliminate all trace of their pivot pins. Seriously...that Keen really came to life! Markos is a gem.

You have some serious passion, my friend!! I admire it:D

Paul, you have Gorgeous knives but your pictures are so HUGE and take so long to load even on high speed broadband, I usually skip over them.

Northwoods Presidential today ...
