Love your style!!

Just arrived yesterday. I really like this little #83 lockback. I can't find a single flaw on it. Great buy for the money.

Ditto on a great little knife. Taking this one for a walk today.

Great to hear Bob! Mine should arrive next week and I'm very excited for it!

Buck 055. Scheduled for a new knee on 25 August so this is the only one I'll carry until then and take to the hospital with me.

Great company to keep, and best of luck with your surgery Ed.

Speaking of great pictures... As usual Gevo! Wow!

Thanks, Mike.
That Queen Canoe is a nice looking knife. Is that one D2?

Thanks, Mike.

Yes it's D2. The main blade is pretty thick, and it took my amateur sharpening skills a while to get a nice edge on it. The secondary is a stubby little pen, but it's scalpel thin, in contrast to the main blade, and came pretty sharp.

It's my second Queen with these faux stag carved bone handles (2014 Northwoods IRJ is the other one), and I have to say I'm a big fan of them.

Mike ( Crazy Canuck)
Thank you very much for the fine compliment!! Inspiring:D:thumbup::thumbup: I too love that Canoe and the color of your Alox!!

Thank you my friend, that is a beautiful photo, are those laburnum pods?

Thank you for the compliment! The whittler is quite photogenic:D Going to sharpen her up tonight.

The tree is a Mimosa (Albizia julibrissin) and the seed pods and seeds are poisonous, as per one source and another says they can be used for livestock feed and wildlife. It is considered an invasive species. In traditional Chinese medicine Albizzia jublibrissin (合歡花 Hé Huān Huā) is used to nourish the heart and calm the spirit....huh

I would much rather it be a Laburnum. Those are gorgeous in bloom!!

I know what you speak of regarding sharpening the Queen Canoe D2 ... it took a while for me even on the DMT stones.

Bark River Parang just arrived. The Postal lady had to carry it to the door!:D
Heading out to my tree stands to clear some brush, then going fishing. :)

Thanks for the information my friend, when I was a boy we had a garden the size of half a dozen bathtubs, with a Laburnum, which aren't at all common here
