What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

OK guys, did some digging as to why my pics resized. Going to give it another shot from my phone. Please let me know how it appears on your screen:o

No problems there Paul, and that's a great pic of a lovely knife

Thank you Jack:D (I know I am always late posting around here:o) I always love seeing your Davison, perfect in every way.

...

Got this one in today. Love the scratted bone, hammered pins, blade/blade stamp. Great job Charlie and GEC

Thanks Dave, you're very kind :)

I'm glad you were able to get one of those, beautiful knife

Taylor's Eye Witness with lambsfoot blade and 420hc steel. I don't know why but I like this knife. Steel is not perfect and it's probably only 55hrc but it works for me.

As much as i enjoy my GEC and Case knives i found i was carrying mostly peanut and peanut sized knives, so i decided to revisit my SAKs i had a Swiss Champ, Huntsman,Cadet and Climber, pretty soon i had added a small Tinker, Champion Plus, then i moved on to the 58mm models and a Classic, Rambler , Mini Champ and Manager soon joined my little family, after carrying the MiniChamp for a while i realised the Manager has the blades i use the most so for now that is my tote, with the Cadet sometimes along if i think i may need a bigger blade.

I have to agree with TX_planes and Drew, kicking myself that I didn't get one of those "gunscouts" Great photo and knife Ron:thumbup::)

Dave - Thank you for the compliment :) That scratted is a nice one!

Thanks for the KK Scout Roberto! :D I love it! :D

Is that the same sheath you told me about Mark? Looks like it'll do:rolleyes: ;) And of course your custom creation is a stunner

Traditional minus the pocket clip ;)

Really cool dammy pocket cleaver you have there Evan

Thanks Gev. The bone on the pile side is just as nice. :D

Really beautiful piece there Bob. That shield does it and beyond for me :D

I got this one in last night and immediately went to work on giving it a brushed finish, it'll be with me today and for the next couple onwards I imagine :)

Thanks Tim. That is a different sheath that I found for 15 bucks and it fits like a glove. I see you are into Primble-izing too! Seriously I like how you knocked the gloss down on the bolsters. :D

I knocked the scale off my Ancient TC and patina'd the bolsters to match the blades. Carrying the 83 with it. :)

Thank you Mark :), I'm an amateur compared to you and Rob but I do enjoy a good matte finish on the bolsters. Shall look into the sheaths and I like your choice for today. The red pick/jigged bone is looking mighty fine

Jumping in here Bob, BEAUTIFUL Schrade buddy:cool::thumbup:

Yay! I've missed seeing your pics, Paul. Could you repost all your pics from the last two months? :D

Bob, I'd like to add my appreciation to the list here for your Schrade. Beautiful jigging!

I decided to go old school and carry my favorite scout knife today.

Noob question but which GEC knife is this? I have seen a few times I really like it.

Today my small Douk Douk. This and my Case Toothpick have been getting a lot of carry time.

Tom, you know what I think...:D
Perfect combo!!! :thumbup::thumbup:

Is that City Knife a maroon micarta? I think a mircarta is next on my list.

Thanks redsparrow! And yes, it is maroon linen micarta. My pics of this particular knife never seem to bring out the maroon very well, must be my mediocre camera skills. I am sending this one out today to be fitted for a custom sheath, which I am pretty excited to try out.

Picked up some patina after all the peaches and mango its been cutting up for lunches.
