Thanks, Ron. At 3 1/8" it disappears in the pocket but sure handles most of my daily tasks.
Nice covers on your 73! I like the plain shield too.

Gev - It really looks great from any direction

Thanks very much, Ron! I agree with you on Gary's carry as well. That wharncliffe trapper has all the right stuff!

Your 73 is getting the best loving patina it deserves.:thumbup: It looks super!

As much as i enjoy my GEC and Case knives i found i was carrying mostly peanut and peanut sized knives, so i decided to revisit my SAKs i had a Swiss Champ, Huntsman,Cadet and Climber, pretty soon i had added a small Tinker, Champion Plus, then i moved on to the 58mm models and a Classic, Rambler , Mini Champ and Manager soon joined my little family, after carrying the MiniChamp for a while i realised the Manager has the blades i use the most so for now that is my tote, with the Cadet sometimes along if i think i may need a bigger blade.

I found myself doing the same thing recently. I carry a Vic minichamp on my keyring all the time. I usually carry another knife in my pocket such as a Vic Climber, Pioneer or Evo 14, Case medium stockman, Buck cadet or something similar.

Gary & Gev - Thanks for the words about the 73 ;) It could easily become my favorite pattern

Well, this is a real crappy picture.

Regardless, this is what I carried today. Imperial Scout knife and I think 79 Case xx, regular "s", 1 dot.

Thanks Ron, I really appreciate that. I really love the 73 you are carrying today, nice patina on it also.

Nice scout, looks like a Dwight Devine era Ulster:thumbup:

Beautiful Photo and knife Gevonovich

Carrying a Needham Brothers Sheffield Whittler

That is a mighty fine knife, Dave, thanks for sharing. Is there a recess in the stag for the nail nick on the pile side blade?

Kris

Great looking knives Harry, how's the stag on your 73 aging?

I will try to take a few newer pictures tomorrow if the weather permits. I do carry it virtually every day , but I use one of the CK slips to keep it from getting scratched. I like the fit of it in the slip too. Mine is Burnt Stag and I think the Stag doesn't change as much as your Natural. We will see tomorrow with before and afters.

Thanks so much Kris! That really means a lot to me coming from a person with such exceptional knives (with top shelf stag). Yes it does have a nail nick on the pile side but unfortunately the coping blade is broken and the stag is cracked both sides. I have been trying to find an old stag clad Sheffield knife but they seem to be out of my price range or in bad shape.:o:(:D

Just gorgeous knife, Dave!! I would enjoy seeing more pics of it with blades open. No worries ...maybe next time it suits your fancy:D
Thanks Gevonovich, I will try to post some soon. :)hope this works for now, not the greatest example but it is sharp as a razor. Definitely needs Primbleizing ;):D.

Thanks, Dave. It's an "and sons" era scout. I like your whittler; everything is low profile on that one!
Thanks Dean!! much appreciated. :)
