Whoa Gevo - that is a super beauty !!! I don't see any barnacles on the bolster - must be the blade. Looking forward to the results my friend. If the pen blade is broken, that NY knife Barlow would be a good guide, IMO. The bone and bolster are fabulous !

I already have out the NY knife and can now more fully appreciate the time you put into that knife. I need some new cut off wheels for the dremel, seems I'm out. I sure hate to cut off the stump anyway because if operates smoothly and has a wonderful untouched tang stamp on it, whereas the main blades is quite weak It's cleaned up and prepped for reconstructive surgery. Still thinking about my anesthetic protocol....I'm going to need it

If you cut it off diagonally across the tang, then you can save that untouched stamp in your Voodoo box. Well - half of it anyway !
