Jerry makes a great knife, and that one is no exception, thanks for sharing John.

Kris

Thanks my friend. Someone mentioned Jerry was having trouble, so dug mine out and snapped a couple pics hoping to send good karma his way. Pile side is just as nice as the mark so I'll show it off too.

Most of my pocket time is split between this one and my stag 73. They're just I've been looking for I guess:)

Mark, thank you good sir for the kind words.

It's still in my pocket today.

Hope you all are having a great one.

Brett, I love the 72 and the coloration on yours is striking!

Wow John, your Halfrich is outstanding!

That's a good looking CSC lockback Jim!

Carried these two today.

Northwoods Indian River and a Vic 86 Soldier.

I didn't even know they did a run of IRJ's in mammoth. Not sure how they escaped me... Beautiful knife Ken!

I agree with all the positive comments about that Indian River Jack. Absolutely stunning! Half of me thinks "how could you carry that" while the other half thinks "how could you not"?

Probably the most beautiful knife I've seen in a long time. Wow!

There is nothing i like more then seeing sparks fly...eye of the tiger:D They don't call me Gevo the Red Badge for nothing. And...I think we should just stick with the established nomenclature:D:eek::p

BrotherJim

That is one fine peanut, Sir!! Wow

Carboniferous

What is the wood on that beauty?

It's curly zebrawood, some of the best looking covers I've seen on a production knife. Lots of color and contrast. I don't think they're still putting out the zebrawood covers, I'm going to try to get a few more before they're impossible to find.

This has been a crazy busy week at work (and at home, for that matter), so I haven't been keeping up with this thread! I wanted to at least stop in on Saturday night and post pics of some of the knives I've been carrying this past week.

As you can see, I've been unusually lucky here in GAWs and have benefitted from the immense generosity characteristic of so many BF members! Thanks for all the many ways folks here have given me gifts of time, information, friendship, advice, knives, and equipment! Best wishes to everyone for the coming week!:)

Brett, always a pleasure to see the red stag #72, and it's especially striking against the purple foliage.

And all the mammoth is crazy beautiful, too. It's gettin' so that even good, old stag is just ho-hum around here!

One set of covers I own belongs in that crazy beautiful realm, at least to me. H&R bark ram's horn #5031 Lockback.

Jeff that ram's horn is awesome! What's the closed length on that beauty?

Appreciate the compliment as well good sir.

Brett, it's 4.19" closed, and you're certainly welcome. I've always thought the Northfield #72, with its triple threaded bolster and long pull clip blade is one of the very best looking GECs, and one with custom amboyna burl covers, or ironwood or koa would be spectacular.
