I was hoping to trade out for my new 83 at lunch, but apparently it got left at the sorting center in Ohio.
Guess I'll stick with this old gal
That Camillus is a classic beauty, Sean!:thumbup: I'd stick with her through thick and thin!
Lol, sorry for the curve ball GT

. I am having a custom sheath made for my City knives which will have a pocket clip, and am carrying modern folders until it arrives to get reacquainted with that style of carry. But I am still a 2 knife guy and a traditionalist

.
Great knives you are carrying this week, and FANTASTIC pic of the Joker!
Thanks for the kind words, Tom!

I look forward to some photos of your new set-up with the custom sheath and pocket clip.

Copycatted and Biscuitized.

#77 with boiled satin blades, satin bolsters, dropped kick and EO notch. Gotta get outdoors and get some better pics.

Your Northfield barlow looks fantastic, Bob; as usual, you did a great job!!:thumbup:

GT: How are the blades on this RR canoe...don't have this pattern yet and that one is nice with stag. How thick are those blades? I like em' on the thinner side
...
I don't have any fancy gauges handy, Steve, but my office ruler indicates the thickest part of the spine on the canoe's blades is just under 2 mm, and tapers quite a bit down to the edge. Eyeball estimate says it's comparable to main blade of my Vic Tinker in thickness. Sorry I can't be more precise.
Some wonderful knives being Toted today

I have enjoyed these 2 straight edge models today
...
Two terrific knives, Ron; I especially like that lamb foot!

Carried this old whittler today. It was rusty and crusty but I cleaned it up a little.
H. BOKER & CO'S IMPROVED CUTLERY stamped on the main blade. H. BOKER CUTLERY GERMANY on the pen and file blades.
I really like the small cut outs to open the pen and file blades and the way the scales flare out on the bottom bolster.

Ken K.
Very nice "rescue", Ken; the Boker is looking way better than when you first got it!

I have a few old knives that haven't seen the light of day in a long while. I started carrying them again. Here's what I had with me today.

Cool Boker, GasMan!

The handles are VERY similar to the "rescue knife" r8shell was showing recently.
My little girl is turning 2 this week (avatar pic) so the wife ordered many a thing off Amazon, 77 doing its chores unboxing them....
Happy Birthday to your daughter, Drew!!

My daughter turned 27 this week! Pay attention, that difference of a quarter-century goes by amazingly fast!!

Not sure about the Idaho outline on the tang? Don't believe any of my other Bucks have it though.
I could be that they had a factory there at one stage, the knife I won in a GAW and is much prized.
Thanks,Will
Thanks, Will. I think Buck's current headquarters are in Idaho, but I don't recall noticing that "map stamp" on other Bucks I've seen pictured here. I'm just curious about it. :roll eyes:
Here are the knives pulling kitchen duty for me this week:
Opinel #7 (in its pristine state)
unbranded (and probably Chinese) Laguiole I bought in Denia, Spain
Cudeman folder from Toledo, Spain
