  • Today marks the 24th anniversary of 9/11. I pray that this nation does not forget the loss of lives from this horrible event. Yesterday conservative commentator Charlie Kirk was murdered, and I worry about what is to come. Please love one another and your family in these trying times - Spark

What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

Great looking one Luc :D Must satisfy the 71 OD green micarta urge ( I think we're both big fans of OD green micarta)

Tim - we do. I love OD and regular Green Micarta. Depending on the size of the knife - sometimes Linen looks a bit better than Canvas, but I like both.

I'm seeing now that you are looking for a 71 in Canvas Micarta - wish I had known since I sold one recently (I had two). If I see another one come up I'll let you know.

Get a grip!

This 83 emerged from the tube today, I'm gibbering quietly in the corner:D

Nice wood on that one Jeff ! :thumbup::)

Carrying my Ancient again today :thumbup:

That sure is one ancient penny Jack ! :eek::thumbup::D:D The Scratted bone looks nice. :)

Cool pic ! :cool::thumbup::)

Nicely captured !!! :thumbup::thumbup::)

I call it topographic celluloid:D It is a very old Curtain & Clark eureka jack that I found all rusted shut in a very cluttered antique shop that I frequent. The lady that runs the place always has old wrecks that have that something special.

Another rabbit hole. :rolleyes:;):D

Rob, that Galvanic Eureka Jack tears my heart out every time I see it. One of the most beautiful knives I've ever seen!

I've got one of my favorites with me today.

Thank you Dean ! I like the green TC you showed. :thumbup::)

Primble
Lovely group today!!

Always appreciated Gevo ! :thumbup::)

These two today

Hit my funny bone after that comment Will. Excellent ! :thumbup::thumbup::D:D:D

These 2, new to me, were in the pocket today. :D

Playing the piano ! :thumbup::thumbup::D

Amazing array of knives today everyone. Ron, those flutes on the orchard Gem get me everytime~

Hey there Luc, much appreciated on the 71 :) Mhm true linen does have a very nice fine thread to it's structure. Canvas is superb for fixed blades and working knives though :D

Thanks, Prim, the curly zebrawood is really nice, I should have grabbed a few more when they first came out.

Today's carry is made possible by our kindhearted and good friend Bob (BigBiscuit).

Bob had posted picture of this beauty and it had me drooling all over my keyboard. Last week he decided to let it go and give me first dibs. I was thrilled, honored, excited and sad all at the same time. This precious is probably going to occupy the bottom of my pocket for the next few months. Love it! (yes this guy loves his Micarta :cool:)

Thanks again Bob - every single day you are not in my thoughts. Hope that one day I can meet you in person!

Most excellent and too cool! I couldn't resist a #71 in green canvas micarta since I always dreamed of a Case with the same scales...

Maybe I can help that desire fester for you.... Here was my carry just the other day and one of the few other blades I brought with me on my trip this week.

Thanks Jerry. Yeah I have a 71 in green Canvas Micarta and one in green linen Micarta - this custom micarta Case was the cherry on the cake. So happy to have that one in my collection.

your 71 seems to have a nicer Patina than mine ;)
