  • Today marks the 24th anniversary of 9/11. I pray that this nation does not forget the loss of lives from this horrible event. Yesterday conservative commentator Charlie Kirk was murdered, and I worry about what is to come. Please love one another and your family in these trying times - Spark

What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

Jake, be careful, this ancient is very addictive.

But I have to find a place in a pocket for these too. Problem...

Nice IXL Barlows

Been wanting to check one of these bad boys out. Hmmmmm.

I was looking at them myself the other day, they look very nicely made :) The lock would reduce pocket-time for me though :(

Jack
That is the perfect picture of your Ancient with the old Penny! Gorgeous knife....almost perfection. May your connection fire up to warp speed...come on Scotty...give me all you got!!!:D

Thank you very much my friend, you're very kind :) LOL! I wish I could fire up to warp speed myself today! :D

Primble
Lovely group today!!

Today's carry is made possible by our kindhearted and good friend Bob (BigBiscuit).

Bob had posted picture of this beauty and it had me drooling all over my keyboard. Last week he decided to let it go and give me first dibs. I was thrilled, honored, excited and sad all at the same time. This precious is probably going to occupy the bottom of my pocket for the next few months. Love it! (yes this guy loves his Micarta )

Thanks again Bob - every single day you are not in my thoughts. Hope that one day I can meet you in person!

Green isn't my color but that is STUNNING.
First day carrying my new 85.

Very nice 85 Evan, they fill the hand wonderfully and that indian paintbrush bone is eye catching~

That is a beautiful piece Gevo, aged like fine wine and not even sure of the cover material but it's astounding!
edit: the celluloid is beautiful :)

Thanks, Paul and Tim. :) Maybe millions of people used to carry an Imperial like the one I posted. That particular knife is one that my wife found in our house one day (she thinks her dad probably gave it to her years ago when he got a new knife) and put at my place at the kitchen table back in January 2014. I had such a good time cleaning it up that I decided I'd start carrying a knife again like I did as a kid back on the farm. And that's how the addiction started for me! :o:o

That's a wonderful piece of history to hold on to. Cleaning up knives is a favourite part of buying older or used knives for me.

Awesome brother! :D

These two today

Wonderful Carry Mark, that stag looks great.
this went immediately in the pocket after I picked it up :)
Thought I might be turned off by the size but with this pattern at 4" it's absolutely perfect

Thanks Tim! The Indian Paintbrush is one of my favorites and I was lucky enough to get one with some very nice color variation. According to GEC's production numbers they only made 10 with no serial =D

I didn't get the memo about the big blades on 85's hitting the back spring though...the walk and talk is very free and snappy and it picked up a nice edge roll today when I let it fly after some food prep.

To the stones!
