  • Today marks the 24th anniversary of 9/11. I pray that this nation does not forget the loss of lives from this horrible event. Yesterday conservative commentator Charlie Kirk was murdered, and I worry about what is to come. Please love one another and your family in these trying times - Spark

What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

Tim that Davison is a stunner!
Paul and Harry, those are some great looking 73's.

I left my modern at home today, and instead grabbed my opinel(9). It does not see nearly enough pocket time.

Harry those are two beauties, Paul yours is exceptional, you guys/gals have all convinced me I have been missing the boat with stag.. need to fix that soon!

Thanks Gevo , Drew , and Dadpool !!!!
Gevo : I still need more Stag and have a 77 Stag coming
Drew : You just have to choose which one to order . Both 73 and 83 Stags are out there !!!

Harry

Looks like it came out really nice Tim.

Today I carried an often overlooked (by me) Queen Copperhead 41. I don't know why it sits all lonesome because it's a pretty decent knife aside from the thick grind that's typical for Queen knives.

I agree with everyone else Bob, that is a real looker! Nice rosewood and shield.

Your going to have to build a taller tower or another one for all the stag:thumbup:;):D

Thanks Gevo : I honestly had not thought of that !!!! I just may build one for UNXLD Stag after I get back from vacation to Yellowstone Park . It will not be as tall as the one for my Barlows though. That one rocks too much. Maybe I should just make one for you too while I am at it ???????

Harry

I can certainly see why Paul.

Thanks Bob, I have so many others to carry but the #73 is just so nice. I was NEVER a single blade guy but that's staring to change...VERY nice Copperhead you posted earlier:cool:

Very easy to understand why it has your attention Paul !!!!! It looks a little better every day.

Harry

Thanks Harry and back at you with that Stag duo of yours;)

Not that much encouragement is needed around here Drew, but DO IT:D hope all is well with you and your family:)

Paul - Great to see you and that terrific Stag 73 back for a visit! :D

Thank you Ron, I still pop in from time to time but enjoy it when I get to chime in every now and then, always GREAT knives you post:)

@ Erik (SSS), thank you Erik in regards to the Stag #73, like you I own an Opie, but I Never carry mine...puzzling as its such a terrific slicer. Your Presidential? is really acquiring some great character:cool::thumbup:

I appreciate that thought, Harry!! Very generous of you!!!! If you decide to build an extra then I say offer it as a give away here as I have seen so much generosity already people would stop talking to me:eek:

Fine looking knife there Bob, is it carbon?

I hear there's a similar type of knife coming out as an SFO but with special wood scales, Wharncliffe and a high end stainless. Can't mention names here though.....

This is my Queen Copperhead in D2 and nice ACSB scales. It's also a locking version having the liner tab as well, sturdy work-knife with a nice sharp edge on the D2, came reasonably sharp anyway so improving it was not a Sisyphytic task:eek::D

Two great-looking knives Will

Nice lines Drew

Haven't had a chance to post much of late but ALWAYS enjoy it when I can. Just a broad given thanks to so many, Gev, Tim, Bob, Ron, Erik, Jack, Andi, Henry, Jeff/s, Rob, Mark and so many others, you all make this place so great....come later this Fall/Winter I will be back to participate more:cool:

This Stag #73 has completely commanded my attention, love it:thumbup:
