What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

Tim
BrotherJim: I really like my mini copperlock also...great looking clip.
Thank you sir. NICE Viper, Steve !!!

I like that appaloosa-like bone. What color is that? I just got my first mini copperlock this week. Did a dye job to the bone, will post some pictures when I get a chance..
Caramel jigged bone. I like the hammered pins and as-ground blade in addition to the bone on this one. Overall, this Case may have better fit and finish than many Case knives I have. The blade pinches easily for opening but the long pull looks good on this pattern IMO.

Fine bone on the Copperhead, Jeff.

This German lockback made it out with me today.

Thanks, Will

Great carry today, Sir:thumbup::thumbup::cool:

Thanks Gev, it's an unusual lockback having that old-fashioned tab sticking up from the spine acting as release bar, stamped blade. Quite a heavy brute too.:D

Regards, Will

Thanks for the info, Will. It looked like a brute and that is a good thing! i looked up Weidmannsheil and it meas ..good hunting, but also found some knives. Who is the maker on that one?

I don´t know if they were made by Olbertz, but it could be possible.
The only two cutleries that made them in the past was "Wilhelm Weltersbach" and some others might have been made by "Gräfrath" (later known as Hubertus).

No guarantee on these info... all IIRC ;)

My workday is over and I don't really carry a knife while relaxing at home. I think I'll toss my Alsdorf in my pocket for the next few days. Planning on shooting a round of Sporting Clays this weekend. The Alsdorf will make a good companion.

Thanks for your insight, Andi!! I really appreciate your knowledge:thumbup:

Tim: The bullnose looks good with trimming of some that "nose hair"
spending some Viper time today

Aha thank you Steve, it didn't take too much to knock that hump off thankfully. Great collection of yesteryear~ Need to get my father one of those and the viper is always a top notch choice~

Beauties as always everyone.

This one.

Ken K.

Great choice Ken, that jigging is so crisp and well done

Good job on the edge straightening Tim!!

Thanks Jake, you'd enjoy today's return from maker.

Got this in from Todd after a refurb and it's good as new and dropped in the pocket to ride alonside the bullnose. Ironwood is a real delight to look at.

Looks like it came out really nice Tim.

Today I carried an often overlooked (by me) Queen Copperhead 41. I don't know why it sits all lonesome because it's a pretty decent knife aside from the thick grind that's typical for Queen knives.
