That's certainly a winner, Jeff! (What's the status of that beautiful ebony Northfield Barlow that used to be your constant companion?)
Nope no Moose this weekend it's a 55 for weekend carry. Moose has really become dedicated work carry for sure though
Sorry for the misidentification, Shane; thanks for setting me straight!
GT ty for the compliment on my Scout and photo. I have to say you always impress the heck out of me with the time you take to comment on so many knives in this thread. Cheers to you for helping make this forum such a positive, friendly place.:thumbup:
I gotta agree with Drew GT. Thanks always for the kind words.
The stag on that canoe is wonderful to look at

Thanks, Drew, scrteened porch, and Tim; just following the lead of so many others here!

Work has been more demanding for the past month or more, so I don't get to this "Totin' Today" thread as much as I used to or would like to, but I try to see what folks are posting even if I don't have time to post comments every day. (In fact, on the really busy days at work, I'll think, "I may have to quit looking at that thread; it takes too much time!" But so far, I can't quit entirely.)
...Always nice to see your Martinez GT

Thanks, Jack.

That smooth cover ancient and the 2014 Forum knife are an attractive couple!
Carrying this one today.
I really like the etch on this blade, but that broken tip!!!
So I turned into sort of a sheepsfoot, it works nicely now...

Nice reprofile, Mark! And thanks for answering the question about the covers; I was wondering if it was horn, too.
...Having old Remi in my pocket today

Mike
Superb old Remington, Mike!
NICE, Gev!

I don't think I realized Rough Rider had a sowbelly in their sawcut bone; I'll have to hunt one of those down!

(Some of their sawcut bone knives, especially the Barlow, look odd and cockroachish to me, but your sowbelly is definitely NOT in that camp!)
Totally Cool TC, Dean!
Whatever the weather, that pair is bright and sunny, Robert!
My trusty and Old Buck 110 - what a wonderful folder.

Real classic, Andi! I can't believe I haven't picked up one of those yet, at least for its historical interest.
Found this one in a box of my old stuff this weekend. My Dad gave me this as my first knife before my first big weeklong camping trip, probably about 25 years ago. It went through countless camping trips, whittled sticks and who knows what else. The tip of the main is slightly bent from me throwing it in the air and trying to get it to stick in the ground...seemed like a cool idea. I still remember the horror I felt when I saw the tip was bent-lesson learned. I have no idea how that chunk of the cover came off. It was plenty gunky from all of jars of peanut putter and sticks it's been through. Cleaned and oiled it up and now it sits here on my desk, ready for its next trip...

Congrats on digging that one up, GBS! Thanks for sharing the story.
Their bodies lay flatly on the rocks, and their eyes regarded him with evil interest: but it does not appear that Mr. Tascosa was afraid, or that he realized that he was in any danger. Possibly his confidence is to be ascribed to the limpness of their attitudes. But he was horrified, of course, and intensely excited and indignant at such revolting creatures preying upon knife steel. He thought they had chanced upon a drowned barlow. He shouted to them, with the idea of driving them off, and, finding they did not budge, cast about him, picked up a big rounded lump of rock, and flung it at one.
And then, slowly uncoiling their tentacles, they all began moving towards him - creeping at first deliberately, and making a soft purring sound to each other.
With apologies to HG Wells.

Whoa, that's pretty weird, Sean!

Does your 3D printer give off plastic fumes??

Lately I've really been into Case Knives. Quality is up IMO and the price is right. Picked this one up this morning. This is my first sod buster. I've never been into the single blade trads, but this gem has me thinking differently. Carrying this one today.

I know what you mean, LB; that's a great Sodbuster! If asked, I still say I much prefer a multi-blade knife to a single blade, but I carry a chestnut bone Sodbuster Jr every day.
Got my bag packed to go over and visit ADEE tomorrow. Hopefully we'll find a few things of interest in his local flea-market. I've got a small pile of recent acquisitions stashed away, and am slipping this in my pocket. Pic seemed appropriate

Safe travels and happy hunting, Jack!
Among the knives I'm totin' this week are several with bails, or at least places to attach clips, rings, lanyards, etc.
Vic Minichamp

Holub Electrician
Since I mentioned it above, I'll also post a pic of my Sodbuster Jr
