What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

Very nice, Gev! I don't recall seeing that one before.

This little RR Dog Bone Jack is a cheapie but a goodie.

I showed in on July 27 2013 and Sept 5 2013 ( with the penny you sent me Jack ) and in March 27 of 2014 with an old meat hook in the pic. Here it is open in that July shot:

It is so big I don't tend to carry it that often ( 5" closed ) The pen blade is a bear trap:eek:

Nice Luc! Gotta love those Ancient Barlows.

Thanks Gary! I got this one from Josh (aka texmex03) and I'm extremely pleased with it. It's a fine example!

I have another one but IMO it's not as nice as this one - Josh did a nice job on those bolsters.

:D

Is that by Kaufman Donn?

Sorry Jack I hadn't seen your reply after getting sucked into work over the weekend.
Nope it's a 'Giesen & Forsthoff', Solingen. Picked it up at a stall on the market in York a couple of years ago.

+1 Very nice.

Thanks Bob and Arizona

Got it recently from the Exchange, quite a formidable knife, around 4" with 2 springs and excellent snap&finish- just a slight gap but no play or rubbing the liners. The blades are very decent and the Wormgroove is a tidy aspect, just a well-made knife and something different as Swell-Centre Equal End is not so common.

Regards, Will
