What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

I usually pick out my day's carry according to what I'll be doing that day: Will I need a big blade for food prep, or little blades for detail work, a hard worker, or something classy, etc. I'm not saying it's my very favorite knife, but when I'm in a hurry, I can't go wrong grabbing this whittler. So at the risk of being boring, #38 Whittler, again.

Always been one of my favorites...:)

Is this where you live Erik?

If so you are one lucky guy. I don't want to be there during the winter, but you get the point.

The pictures are from the the North Shore of Lake Superior in MN. It's a 3-5 hour drive from where I live depending on where along the shore we go. This time of year it is heaven on earth.

Beautiful pictures, Erik.

Beautiful captured pictures of Fall Erik

Erik - Great scenery and that Copperhead looks right at home!:)

Wow!!!!!!!

Thank you all for the kinds words! I hope you don't mind me sharing a couple more pics of the copperhead and the scenery. :p

Beautiful pics Erik!

The Memphis Pyramid was bought out by a large box store fish store. It took a while to get Yogi here to pose but finally did for a picnic basket. ;)

Inside they now have the countries highest free standing elevator to a look out at the the top. They allow St Jude families up for free. Pretty cool.

This Case CV punch stockman is in my pocket this evening.

the Trestle pine knife looks really cool, all that nice 154CM steel, would be good to see a review of it sometime.

I can not compete with those wonderful Autumnal pictures, but my Le Randoneur by Laguiole en Aubrac is a grand carry.

Thanks Ron, real luck of the draw. That OO is getting darker by the minute. How long before it turns to ebony :o

Lots of work to be done today...

Haha glad to see you aren't without another bullnose Dan. It may not be for some but it's one of my favourite looking patterns.

Beautiful fruit Tim ! :thumbup::D

Thanks Primble, been pulling out the DSLR recently to really show the details of some knives.

That fruitport is killer! Nice patina too.

Thank you D.B, I had thought about removing it but it fits the contrast perfectly.

I'm taking my newly received Case/Bose Cattle knife for her maiden voyage today.

That's a great looking one Rick, I like the slant bolsters and that bone is very nice

Same Fruitport today, got some early morn light to show the ivory grain.
