Paul thanks, that is some beautiful scenery you have there. The knife ain't to shabby either!

Erik, would that be Taccoa Falls?:D

It's actually Amicalola falls. I found out about it last night looking for trails on the internet.
I have fished the Taccoa river, but I wasn't aware of Toccoa falls. I'll have to look that up.

Hey Paul...do you carry your salsa jar out to the rake? Haha. Looks like a great spot to enjoy the flat land

Yep doing well! Watching the weather turn to crap for the rest of the week as I try and get things buttoned up now that hunting season is here. Hope you and the fam are well also!

I haven't carried this one in a little while so today was the day:

Thank you GT ! :thumbup::)

Yes - the Barlow has a Shapleigh HDW. Co. tang stamp.

Imperial brought out a line of Diamond Edge knives in the early 1970's.

Shapleigh Hardware had closed in 1955 and was sold to Curtis Manufacturing, which continued to sell under the Shapleigh Diamond Edge name until the early 1960's.

That Taramundi knife is interesting. :thumbup::)
Thanks for the DE info and the Taramundi comment, Primble. :)

+1 on that Taramundi GT. Where is that from?:thumbup:
Steve, I bought that knife while visiting my daughter in Spain last Christmas. We found it in Seville, Spain at a cuchilleria recommended to me by a BF member, Sevilla, who even "dropped my name" with Señor Rafael, the proprietor! Thanks for asking! :)

...Good to see your Taramundi GT :thumbup:

I'm carrying these two today, Joseph Elliot Penknife and a TEW Stockman :)
...
Thanks, Jack. :) You're carrying a fine old pair! :thumbup::thumbup:

...This one today.......
Very classy 85, Mark! :cool::cool: I always fall for those EO 85s, especially with that blade combination! ;)

Thanks for the compliments on the 77 and the Camillus yesterday everyone! As you can probably guess, I'm still totin' the 77, but I have a couple new arrivals along for the ride today too. Ebony 33 whittler and a Schrade 881 Premium Stockman
...
Congrats on the attractive new acquisitions, Sean; winners for sure! :thumbup::cool:

Gun Scout escorting a Motorist.....
Fascinating duo, Robert! :thumbup::thumbup: What is that circular tool on the Motorist? (I'm thinking it's for blowing soap bubbles, but that's crazy! :o)

I used to be a professional gear-tester and design consultant specialising in outdoor footwear, I've got a spare bedroom like Imelda Marcos's wardrobe! :D :thumbup:
:D:D

EDB yet again, I guess I'll have to switch it up at some point... but not today!
...
Congrats on that Barlow with the VERY striking covers, Cannonball!! :eek::thumbup::thumbup: I LOVE that knot on the pile side! :cool::cool:

My favorite sheep was with me today ;):rolleyes::D
...
Incredibly elegant Charlow, Ron! :thumbup::thumbup:

Todd, I enjoyed seeing these. As usual the beer, food and conversation was great. The break from my day was sorely needed, thank you my friend.

Funny how a 2-year-old knife can already be invested with-- and evoke-- so much nostalgia for these good ol' days of knives.
