What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

An old file knife by an unknown maker and a Northwoods Broadway Jack in camel bone:

My Beer Scout helped cut up some sausage and brisket for lunch today. The sauce really helped add to the patina! I think it is developing nicely.

This Boker Copperhead in olive wood and 440C
(you'll have to take my word for it that the actual knife is not "fuzzy".)

Hi friends! It's been a while since I checked in. I've been traveling in Istanbul, Turkey and picked up this neat micarta friction folder hand made in the area. It's not very pretty but is still a great well built work knife and only cost me a song.

Good to see you back Lemmy, that's a cool reminder of your trip

Very interesting knife that Turkish one Lemmy, kind of cigar frame and blade. Looks the part in micarta too -don't most knives actually?

Rooted out the 68 White Owl in stainless and Light Tan bone today. Fine to have a single-spring knife with NO rub at all and sporting excellent W&T:thumbup:

Excellent! White Owls are fantastic, and that is a beauty

I don't usually comment on this thread on a regular basis, as I can't keep up with all the amazing pictures being shared. I'd be here all day. And I usually just throw a knife in my pocket and hit the day running.

I did take a pic today to post the knife I am carrying. I picked it up recently, and it was missing the shield, so I popped a replacement in, goes pretty well. I originally thought the covers were delrin, as I couldn't see any visible pores, but a closer examination revealed it is indeed bone. The knife has no visible tang stamp, it has worn off, but the main blade has "0304" on the back side of the tang, maybe that's a clue. I'd love to know who made it, but it's not going to keep me up at night. It's a great carry, so I thought I'd share it.
