I also had this old Gerber C300b on my belt. It came in the same package as the Buck.... that Johnny5 is a good dude!
Do any of you fine folk know what steel Gerber used for these ? All I was able to find is that they used High Speed Tool Steel that was chrome plated.

Jolipapa, I really like this photo; your arm and the knife look surreal against the vegetables and fruits!
