What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

I finally have a winner in the battle of the 77 Barlows. I'll use it to butcher this apple and start the patina this afternoon. Incidentally, I stabbed myself in the palm closing it after this shot... ouch.

Sounds so brutal....poor apple although I did the same at lunch today.

Glad you were finally able to decide the keeper!

I received a package in the mail yesterday from my good buddy Johnny Five. This beautiful Esquire was in there along with a few more traditional treasures.

May it serve you well and peel many apples:thumbup:

Ive been eyeing a #66 slim in purple sage bone a lot lately. Anyone care to enable me/give experiences on the purple sage?

With me today. The Little Classic Alox was a gift from my son Daniel. He bought it when he was in Switzerland a few years ago.

I've always liked the look of the Alox Classic. I just wish they had a place for a toothpick. Classy looking knife.

Thanks. I don't carry it often as I'd hate to lose it. I do agree it'd be nice to have a toothpick and tweezers on it.

Nice carries, Gary. I just ordered a drab olive lumberjack alox sak, something a little different for me. If I like it I will pick up the damascus bladed(Damasteel) Spartan, 2014 limited edition.

My first case with chestnut and CV was the peanut followed by the sodbuster Jr. and then the trio was completed by adding a swayback jack. I love all 3 but carry the sodbuster and swayback more than the peanut due to size

Wow, that's a great set, Tony; a real sweet suite of chestnut CV!!:thumbup: You're officially my hero now! :D

...The Hammer today

Colorful couple of desirable knives you've got there, Robert!:thumbup:

I have not pocketed this one in a long while, it makes a change from the mostly European made knives i have been carrying for the last few months.
