What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

I pulled a Campbell (:p) yesterday and left the house without a slipjoint. It felt weird going the whole day without a knife in my pocket. To make up for it I'm carrying two knives today.

Boy, I just hate it when that happens!! Those are both nice pocketknives there. I carried my Case wharncliffe mini trapper that I won in Jason's give away last year.

This is my third peach seed amber bone stockman and this one is a pretty as my chestnut bone canoe. I had a 6318 w/punch that had the most miss matched bone I had gotten from Case and a 63032 that was actually not bad but this one is just spectacular!

Taking the wife and kid to Disneyland this weekend so I won't have the usual rotation to choose from. Got to make sure I take something good and versatile. I figure this'll do.

ed,

sodbusters are awesome and yours is a very awesome example but i just don't think i'd be able to refrain from putting that canoe in my pocket everywhere i went just so i could show it to people, it is an absolutely beautiful knife.

oh and by the way i have my yella cv peanut in my watch pocket, with my black case sodbuster jr. in my pocket, as per usual, this has proven to be my favorite edc combo.

thanks
sam

Just picked up a couple of case yellow derlin handled stockmen. I use the one that i carry for everything.

Christian, the bone on that Imperial is excellent. Be careful with it, mind you don't misplace it!!

Today, Stag Half Congress from GEC with the Northfield shield, gets better and better.

That is a beautiful knife.

Jamie, thank you for the nice compliment regarding my Case knife:)

I carry her on a regular basis and would be sick if it ever went lost:( She's been with me for a very long time and the handles almost act as a talisman---constantly rubbed smooth between my fingers and riding in my front left pants pocket. The knife doesn't share the pocket with change or anything else to help keep her in good shape.

The patina is earned and the blades have worn a bit over years of being sharpened but is a constant companion...my yeller cv peanut will occupy the right front watch pocket on a pretty constant basis as well. I'll post a picture of the nut when time allows---I swear the yeller gets prettier/richer in color with time:)

Today I carried my GEC #48 slimline trapper in tractor red bone I think it's one of the best and most simplistic patterns next to the sodbuster of course.
