What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

There's a steady rain here today, so after work I grabbed my stainless railsplitter in buff horn.

Queen small stockman in buffalo horn, went on a road trip and passed through Titusville, picked this one out at the factory store.

That's a good looking stockman! My mom just left for PA. I was really hoping she would be near Titusville so she could pick me up something straight from the factory(GEC or Queen). Unfortunately she is on the complete opposite side of the state.
No factory knife for me. :grumpy:

Wow CM, what's the story behind that beauty--and can we see it open?

Sure!

What's the FB Dan? Looks very useful

That's looking good Gus

I decided to swap out my dogleg for this J Milner sleeve board today. I hope everyone has a great day!

Been raining all week here :( Cool Railsplitter Jeff

That's a beast CM!

What Case is that? Really like the look of it, the patina with those covers is real nice.

Thanks, it's the Sowbelly stockman, TB6339CV, chestnut bone.

 Man, I wish I could own Tapio Wirkkala one day.. Definitely the most beautiful puukko design I have ever seen.

I felt that way about the knife for many years, this one was very generously gifted to me.

Lovely clean lines Duane, a great-looking knife

Thanks Jack :) I believe we have very similar tastes in sheath knives ;)

That's a beautiful sowbelly, are the handles the chestnut bone? I've been itching to get a case and that might just do it for me.

Yes, they are chestnut. The Sowbelly has been my favorite pattern from Case knives.

Erik and Stephen - great knives today. That Moki looks buttery and the shadow sleeveboard blows my skirt too! :)

Here's a tiny Menefee for today's pocket fodder. Rick did a spa treatment on it this summer, as it was one of his first knives...and it's so very smooth now.

Thanks, the Queen shop had about 20 models to choose from in the case and you just have to be there to inspect them. The young Lady helping me was great, very good sales person. I visited GEC also with the typical awesome experience, there were about five models I totally lusted over but budget dictated only one purchase...a maroon 54 big jack.

Yay, got a new one in pocket this week. Thanks to the Exchange. The edge variation in pic is an optical illusion, actually straight as an arrow. And after a few minutes on the KME, now sharp as a laser too. :D I wish I had the photo skills of many here. Was going to try an outdoor "nature-istic" shot today, but the weather was snow-rain-snow-rain so I didn't try. So please forgive the office florescent lighting phone pic (that most of mine tend to be).

Dan - A great combo!

I am carrying the Moki Fish Owl today.

Erik - The Moki is a very sleek pocket friendly looking knife.:)

Meant to include this in my earlier post, carrying today walking around the neighborhood.

Drew - The K roo is a dandy and a very stout looking folder!

Stephen - Such a terrific old sleeve board! Absolutely beautiful bone! :)

These two this afternoon. The denim micarta on the Michigan jack came out great.

Dean - another great duo today!:)
