What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

Still busy here on the Yorkshire range ;) I'll be out of the house by 6am tomorrow, and probably not back until late. Going to be carrying these two with me

I'm celebrating with my Northwoods Mini Moose, and a brush fire in my backyard. Gotta get all the trimmings and firewood garbage burnt and disposed of.

Nice green bone Jack! Nice green Burl Joe...thinking of spring returning already!?

Just got a new Davison this afternoon. Took this picture and edited it just to lighten it up a little and it seems to look like its floating....weird

Jake, it does appear to be floating:cool: BEAUTIFUL KNIFE:thumbup:

This single blade Kabar Coppersmith for me today, fantastic f&f...I seem to gravitate towards single blades as of late...DARN YOU MARK!!!

Thanks for the kind words about my SAK-heavy lineup this week, Erik, Robert, Steve, and Jack. :)
Jack, those were a couple of dark beauties you were carrying back whenever! (My apologies for not keeping up to speed on this thread.)

GT, the 211 on the pen's tang of my tortoise acrylic half whittler is the second half of the model number, 613211- the first half, 613, is on the other side of the tang.
Thanks for teaching me interesting new facts, Jeff. Admittedly, I'm not super-familiar with all things GEC, but I had never noticed that they sometimes "split" their tang stamp numbers that way!

Definitely one (or two) of these.
Thanks for the interesting shot of your splendid knives, D.B! Until seeing your photos, I had no idea how similar the handle shapes of the Seahorse Whittler and the GEC 38 Whittler are.

This is one of my newer knives and finds its way to the pocket less often than it should.

2-blade or 3-blade, Jack? I have trouble keeping track of the many 66 configurations!

Wednesday

That's a beauty, Rachel! Have you done much whittling with it?

A few more knives I have in this week's group:
an A. Wright & Son stag senator I won in a generous GAW that R.c.s sponsored,

Thanks. No serious whittling, but a bit of fooling around with pencils.

You've got a nice selection for the week, yourself. That Wright &Son senator is a beaut.

Gotta love those 71's in micarta!

Failed grouse hunting but after some plinking in the setting sun to end off positive. :D;):D

Thanks! Those are some real nice blades you have too...and a nice 10/22 as well! You're lucky to be able to grouse hunt with a rimfire where you are, here in WI were not allowed. Better luck next time! Whats that fixed blade you have there?

I've been lusting after a Coppersmith Barlow for a few months now.

This one's been in my pocket since I don't know when...couple weeks now

IMG_8876%20850x522_zpsf3gxkbog.jpg

it just wound up there and made itself all nice and cozy :)

The Tapio Wirkkala has seen almost daily use in the kitchen since its arrival

seems right at home there. My favorite and most used knives all wind up in the kitchen knife drawer...
