What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

I love the pictures of your surroundings Jolipapa and Jack, always look forward to them. I also always look forward to whatever zany terms GT will use in his multi-comment posts!

I feel like I've been neglecting this one lately so I worked the edge on the strop a little to polish it back up and it's gonna go for a little ride today. (Older pic, rain and gloom outside didn't lend to taking a great one)

Just gorgeous Jake! May I ask what covers are those?

Nice carry Luc! Double nice carry with that Ancient TC as well!

Got some sun in before the snow this afternoon…

J_Curd - You read my mind. ;)

(P.S.) You don't really want that Davison, do you? :)

I'm afraid I do :) The stock is nice and thin; spooky sharp after my prototypical 15micron convex and paper wheel polish.

Plus, Jake would want to arm wrestle you for it and plane tickets are pricy...it could get ugly! ;)

I got the AGR Cattaraugus Anniversary fixed blade today as well, an early birthday gift from my sweetie Bree. Tis' a day for super slicers. I'll get proper pics of both soon.

Mark - thanks for the compliment on my dogleg. That's a fine looking Camillus stockman you're carrying today.

Primble - two more wonderful Catts today. The swell center is fantastic and is one of my favorite patterns, but that indian trail bone on the 3 1/4" swell-end is really something to behold. I'd love to see a photo of the blade etch sometime. As for my photo today, the Dan Tucker verses were pure serendipity. ;)

Jack - I doubt your bread stood a chance against those three knives you were carrying today. :)

JSCHENK - two beauties today, but which is work and which is play?

wundergussy - beautiful soup bone!

Ken - lovely old redbone XX.

Gevonovich - love the photo. I had to go a different route as I'm afraid my bowl of cereal this morning wouldn't have made for a very good photo... come to think of it, it didn't make for a very good breakfast either. I hope your breakfast was just the beginning of a great day for you. :)

Gary - fantastic looking ancient barlow and ancient lure with an even more fantastic back story.

Harry - thanks for the compliment. I'm afraid that it seems Primble might've cornered the market on all the nice old Catt's. ;) But kidding aside, best of luck with the hunt.

Erik - thank you sir! :)

Jake - thanks! I've got a few shadow patterns, but think that one is my favorite. The walk and talk on that one is also probably as close to my ideal as any knife I own. Speaking of Todd's work though, I really love the jigging on yours. Really wonderful.

R8shell - nice esquire. I have one in ebony too and hope you're as happy with yours as I am with mine.

Joe - outstanding looking old Hammer Brand. So much character in that bone.

Luc - another beautiful Barlow, and a fine looking pocket sheath too.

picturerock - lovely photo of your FJ.

payton206 - very nice photo of your Michigan Jack. The denim micarta is very handsome.

bozack - great looking I*XL Barlow.

Bill - nice looking swell center. It's hard to find a better combination of quality and price than Rough Rider provides in my opinion.

GuestWho101 - two very cool Roughnecks.

goodeyesniper - interesting photos, and a wonderful forum knife.

Joe - congratulations on the new Davison. I bet it's a joy to carry that one.

Dan - absolutely stunning photo!

Robert - a lot to like about that Trail Guide.

Daggone two compliments from Stephen in a single day! Thanks for the early birthday present from you too my friend :D

If I win the arm wrestling match, I'll send the prize to Steven as a thank you...or we could just skip the middle man haha.

Happy birthday by the way! Looking forward to more pics of that new present!

Thanks Jake. Last day being 34 has been a nice one. You've got first dibs if this one ever leaves the stable...but you'd be mighty blue holding your breath!

R8shell - nice esquire. I have one in ebony too and hope you're as happy with yours as I am with mine.

Thank you. I'm very happy with it. Even when I'm carrying a larger knife, I like to have a little coping blade with me.

The Esquire is a dandy little thing. I could've guessed you'd like that one Rachel. Mine happens to be an Ebony as well; a very understated little doll. I'd like to see one with a clip main and a bomb shield. The Peanut fans might find a new religion! *ducks for cover*

Cool pic

NICE :)

Congratulations Joe

Jack - I doubt your bread stood a chance against those three knives you were carrying today. :)

Thanks a lot Stephen, I wish my teeth were as good! :D

THIS is a beautiful picture of two great knives, wow what a composition Dan:cool::thumbup:

+1

Thanks Gevo, Primble, Stephen, and Rachel for your comments on the stag jack.

RobbW: Very nice Eureka jack!
Dantone05 Great pair, and great picture Dan!
Jake and Stephen Really like those wood handle clip blade Davisons you are carrying!
Jack Great pictures, looks like that ancient is taking over a good bit of pocket time.
goodeyesniper Nice 85 forum knife, those were a real good one!

Just picked up this Menefee, been wanting to try a Lanny's clip for a while, I am liking it.

Have this little Ulster pen knife with me also.

That Ulster pen is great! I've been looking for something like that lately; I don't have anything with tip bolsters and they're very striking.

Two beautiful knives there

Very nice knives and picture !:)

Carried the #92 Eureka Jack today. I love the combination of straight and curved edges!

Got to love this one !:)

I like the industrial feel of the Ancient picture. What is that in the background? The Smith Barlow is interesting as well.:thumbup::)

Nice !! :thumbup::)
