What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

I'm carrying my Manu Laplace 1515 with a heavy heart today.

Gorgeous knife, Stephen. I just put my La Thiers in my pocket in tribute to those that lost their lives in Paris yesterday.

I always enjoy this thread, but we're all blessed with too many superb knives!! I'm always playing catch-up.

I believe your knife to be a Kingston ( a collaboration between Ulster and Imperial). Super piece indeed! Thanks for you compliment and I hope all is transformed and transmuted into pure joy from your meeting today;)
...
Thanks for the kind sentiments, Gev. :) I fear that the transformations/transmutations you mention aren't going to happen, but I hope I can adjust to the demoralizing factors brought about by fiscal challenges currently gripping the institution in which I've ecstatically worked for the past 30+ years.

I'm VERY impressed by your knife knowledge, sir!:D With the name "Kingston" at my disposal, I soon found this catalog page showing a Kingston K-360 that certainly looks like a very close relative to the knife I have! http://www.collectors-of-schrades-r.us/kingston/pages/k1947-12.htm

...GT - thank you. Looks like you've got your pockets full with some wonderful knives yourself....
Thanks, Stephen. :)

...Thanks GT, for both the compliment and the reminder :) Great choices there ...
Double orange for me today, and also my Arthur Wright Lambsfoot again (as I'd left it in my pocket!)

Whoa, a double Barlow day!:cool:

Today I'm toting my newest acquisition, a chestnut bone Case Sodbuster Jr.

Congrats on the chestnut bone SBJr, major!:thumbup: I carry one of those every day.

My new Case stockman in damascus.

Congrats, Tony! I don't have any damascus, so it always looks wonderful and exotic to me!:cool:

Totin' the precious today.

That top knife is a stunner, philllll! I think I recognize it, but does it look redder than usual?

I always carry several SAKs. This week I have a Recruit, one of my favorite models because of its utilitarian simplicity

After getting a blade swap from the GEC factory my canvas micarta #71 now has 1095. Excited to finally put it back into the pocket. Even if the pockets are wet. ;)
