What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

Paul
Lovely post a always from you Sir! You are missed and I too wish that Bob gets well!! Super knife and a great mod!

Wonderful post Paul, spectacular knife. Bob is a special person and well loved. Has always treated me kindly, even as a "new guy" Sending strong thoughts your way Bob!

Madmax ty for the bullnose compliment, and Piston thank you as well regarding the radio jack a few pages back

I've never been as absent from this forum as I have been the last ten weeks. I peruse through my phone when I can sneak a peak during the day...never get to post much but always enjoys logging on...seeing my friends post their knives makes me happy.

Well this one came in from mine and your friend Bob "Bigbiscuit". It's a #79 Sleeveboard with one of his exceptional mods on the main blade. All knives are special from friends...Bob, get better brother, me and many here are praying for you and your family...get better brother, get better:thumbup:

Please excuse the awful picture, but I love this knife, because of the mod and the man who made it, so I wanted to post it tonight.

I've actually been the same boat Paul, haven't been very present due to matters but scrolling through is always a welcome sight and I can only hope Bob gets better. Every single one of my modded knives by him carries a place as a treasured and favourite piece.

Carrying this one that was passed on to Bob a while ago and as a surprise sent back to me last week. Will be holding it for safekeeping~

Very nice IRJ Tim! Is it just the reflection or is the shield and bolsters copper/bronze?

I picked this Bull Nose this morning.

Nice Luc, did you sand that one down some to rough it up....looks great? Got mine in and was thinking of sanding it.

Case/Bose cattle knife, still going strong. I may switch it for a day, but never any more than that. I think I've found the perfect EDC for me.

Kris, man what a nice Loveless. It even has that old look to it. Very lucky man you are! Also I love that Cattle Knife from Ploppert. Come to think of it, I don't know if you really ever post a knife that I wouldn't be thrilled to own. Very well rounded and excellent collection!

Thanks for the kind words, nothing like having a Bob Loveless on your side.

Today at the shop,

I'm very pleased to be finally carrying this broadway jack. While it may be a factory second it is still one of the most well-built knives I've had the pleasure if handling. Sorry for the weird coloring of the picture, the camera didn't want to play nice.

Thanks Josh! no I haven't sanded it. Guess it's just well used?

The Micarta was pretty filthy - it was almost black. So I washed it under hot water and scrubbed the micarta with a soft toothbrush + dial soap. I was going to condition the micarta with mineral oil, but I really liked how it looked, so I left it as is.

Now who's showing off ! :eek::thumbup::thumbup::D:D:D

Well played good sir, well played.

(P.S.) That Davison is astounding.....

Thank you for that. Out of my 4 Davison's, that one instantly became my favorite.

Carrying something a bit out of character for me today, a long misplaced twin of a knife I bought my Pops for Father's Day 9 or 10 years ago. My inability to locate this one has really been nagging me for months because I keep my copy of the knives we both own very safe. I ran across it in a "junk box" in the garage yesterday morning.

I can't recall the last time I've seen a Micro Slither anywhere, nor do I ever recall seeing one this fancy. It's a fun little thing and sharp as the dickens. IIRC, this was my first BRKT.
