What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

Love the Three Bears GT. If our pal keeps it up he'll be coughing up the coin to rename himself Cattaraugus!!

"Really like your Bullnose, Drew"

Thank you Dean :) That night shot on the keyboard was a very cool picture!

What a beautiful knife!

Erik, nice knife and photo! You use that background fairly frequently, don't you? I've been trying to figure out what it is, and my "final guess" is that it's some kind of trailer hitch or something similar, right?:rolleyes:

- GT
Thanks, and you are correct.
The horn on that Joker is really nice!

@ Ron, that OO #73 oozes with character...love how the covers have nicely darkened with age and the patina looks well earned.

On some knives from GEC I prefer the clean lines of Tidioutes versus the Northfield versions, that's just a good-looking knife friend:cool::thumbup:

Paul - Thank you friend, it is easily one of my favorite for EDC.:) I totally agree with your opinion on the Tidioute versus Northfield on the 73 pattern.

I enjoy seeing that one again, Ron! It started out fabulous, and seems to keep getting better all the time!:eek::thumbup:

GT - Thank you sir.:) Another great lineup you have there my friend!:D

Will - That 85 is pure class, I agree with you on the NS liners.:)

This morning I am starting out with another one I got from BigBiscuit. Praying for you and your family Bob!:)

Thank you Ron, it's helped me open a bottle or two, although it has to be said that GEC had not perfected its opener at that stage, it needs a special technique..:D

Bob is a very fine man and wonderful contributor here, I respect his courage immensely.

Regards, Will

New and old for me today...
My new 57 whittler in kingwood and an older slightly modded 71.

Good to see you and Earl are getting on so well Andi

Wonderful matching covers, Jack and major_works!:thumbup: Major, I'm carrying the same two knives this week!!! What are the chances??

Of course, I've been carrying the Sodbuster Jr every day since I won it in a BigBiscuit GAW back in January, and try to use it as a reminder to pray daily for Bob and his family. The swayback jack is a generous gift from Paul H. Speaking of Paul and Bob, two very admirable BF members, thanks to Paul for his very touching post that follows:

Well said, Paul; I appreciate the reminder! Be strong, Bob! Your example certainly gives me strength!

Thanks for the kind words GT, and for this

I have these two in my pocket today, chalk and cheese really, but I like them both :)

^Shane, finding your knife in the picture is always like finding Waldo....what's up with that up close, clutter free pic? Lol. Great looking knife.

Spending the day with my daughter, these two are with me

R.W. Loveless drop point hunter and a whittler by Joel Chamblin, original sheath made by Bob

I got a new pair of jeans that have a ridiculously deep watch pocket. So much so that it completely conceals this guy.

Funny you mention that Joe. I had recently been thinking about changing my user name to Cattmando.;):D:D:D:thumbup:

New knife day for me, just got this litte 22 magnum as a belated birthday present to myself and I'm loving it. I don't usually go for gunstock patterns but this one really caught my eye.
