What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

If I am not careful someone is going to accuse me of being a snake handler, Vipers 2 days in a row! ;):rolleyes::D

I have been admiring your Vipers!! Both are super nice, Ron!
I have my Ohta Gunstock with me today. Hope everyone is having a marvelous Saturday!

Holy OHTA Batman...ping..pow...*#@!

Thanks Will, it started out tea green, a little touch up with Fieblings transformed it. First I've read about the acorns going away...sorry to hear that.

I'm off hunting for the next week and have a Paul Holloway fixed blade drop point on my belt and a no name lockback in my pocket. The lockback is a $12 purchase from Cabelas that has excellent F&F and keeps a good edge. I bought it as a beater knife but found it was too good to abuse. Wished I'd bought a few more at the time.

Love the Three Bears GT. If our pal keeps it up he'll be coughing up the coin to rename himself Cattaraugus!!
:D:D

Dug this out of obscurity :D wish GEC would offer more NS liner knives.

Will, those EO teardrop jacks always get my undivided attention! Congrats on a very fine knife! :thumbup:

Thanks, and you are correct.
The horn on that Joker is really nice!
Thanks, Erik. :)

...GT - Thank you sir.:) Another great lineup you have there my friend!:D
...This morning I am starting out with another one I got from BigBiscuit. Praying for you and your family Bob!:)

Thanks, Ron. :) Your knife has a certain glow to it, and I appreciate the way you're using it as a "reminder"! :cool:

Shane, the jigging on that knife is amazing! :thumbup::eek::thumbup:

Spending the day with my daughter, these two are with me

Kris, some of us older gentlemen would appreciate advance warning that you're gonna post that Chamblin whittler with the superb damascus and awesome stag; when it shows up unannounced, there's a risk that I'll need a defibrillator!! What a stunning knife! :thumbup::thumbup:

The #15 helped me collect some fruiting heads of a magnificent Sycamore tree:thumbup:

Great photo, Gev! :cool: (But why do you want to collect those sycamore heads? :confused:)

Decided to carry a couple Primble knives today:

Holy pachyderm paws, Primble! That photo of those knives leaves me speechless (almost)! :thumbup::thumbup:

Wow, that's an appealing stag-handled 72! :cool::thumbup:

...Pocketing my Davison today :)

Practically perfect pocket knife, Jack! :thumbup::cool:

I got to work early, so I figured I would get the posting started early this morning. I haven't carried this opinel in a while, so it took the place of my modern folder.

Great photo! The finish on the handle of your Opinel is outstanding, Erik! :cool::cool:

Been very busy lately and had a chance to check in. This favored pair today. Piano keys in Ebony and ivory bone. All sharps, no flats though.

Practical, pretty pair, Lemmy! :thumbup::thumbup:

These two again:

Couple of beauties, Rachel, and the pocket slip is cool, too! :cool::cool:

Schrade canoe around the house this morning.

Oh, my goodness gracious sakes alive! Fabulous canoe! :eek::thumbup::thumbup:

Nice photos of your 44 OT! How do you like the knife? What do you use it for? I have one that I haven't used very much yet, but I sure like the idea of four different blade shapes in one little knife! :D

That is a supremely svelte knife!! :cool::thumbup:

I should post a couple more of the knives I've been carrying this week.
I have a category called "watch pocket knife" (although when I'm not wearing jeans, that knife is usually slipped into a whittling thumb guard and carried in my LFP); this week that category is represented by a Case swayback jack:

This week's carry in the "big knife" category (usually something at least 4" closed) is a Rough Rider fish knife, a toothpick on steroids:

In the "miscellaneous" category, this week I'm carrying an old Imperial serpentine jack without its plastic covers:

That Holloway is a great looking knife!

Great photo of a highly desirable knife, Rob!

Is that not as close to knife heaven as a knife can be....wow!

That is the most INCREDIBLE Rosewood I think I've ever seen. What a beautiful piece!

Always appreciated guys ! :thumbup::thumbup::thumbup::)

Since I picked it up at SMKW while driving through TN, this gem hasn't left my pocket. Tidioute #38 Grinling Whittler in Gabon Ebony
