Toted my old Utica EO and Hess Caper today, after I forced some patina on both of them this morning:

This is a recycled pic, but the knife is the same. I gave my Case/ Bose Cattle knife a break today and carried this GEC 38 in burnt stag.

Almost missed this one ! Who is the maker on that beauty ?:eek::confused::confused:

Thank you for the comments gentlemen and Marko you are welcome !

Its an IXL George Wostenholm. I have taken a shine to it as of late:D

That's a nice avatar you sent to Marko! Good to see you for a second, Marko:D I hope the shop is cooking up some goodies:thumbup::thumbup:

I haven't been around here much lately, and have not posted in this thread much since late last year. But, I'm still kickin and I was carrying the rotten banana bone 66 jack today. It has a special place because of those who owned and carried it before me.

A wonderful knife that does the job very competently. I rate it highly.

Harry

My apologies to you Harry and to Jack. Every time I post on this thread the phone rings and I get pulled onto another 12 hour shift and miss peoples' responses.
As avoidspam said it is indeed a Trig' point. That particular one is atop a small hill (506m) called 'Shutlingsloe' in the county of Cheshire on the edge of our Peak District National Park.

I'm always look forward to the winter shots of knives and the snow on here. A 'good many' years ago I was in Bozeman MT over winter. I've never seen snow like it since. :sorrow:

Now for my phone to ring....

Thanks for the further info and pics Donn, try not to work too hard my friend
