What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

Mighty fine, Sir!! An excellent choice:D

Glad you liked it my friend ! :D

Primble Those Hess Knifeworks Capers are a very decent carry: not too dear and yet have a lot of appeal, mine's hideously sharp still:D

Today I've had this one along with me. Frankly, a foul day, the heavy snow is melting, lashings of rain&wind, slippery on foot and on the road Friend's birthday party later on, I hear there will be Rib-Eye Steaks, Chantarelles, green veggies, salad, oven potatoes and a chocolate cake, plus Champagne and Redwine..Maybe today is not so foul after all!:D:thumbup:

Thanks, Will

Thanks Will. The menu sounds wonderful ! Have a great day, other than the gloomy weather. That Northfield could be the icing on that chocolate cake !;):D

Little beauty, one of my favorite patterns. You are doing great job on every knife you have

Mike

Thank you Mike ! :)

That Case is quite lovely :)

Now that's a pretty knife! Of what vintage is it?

Thank you Jack and Major Works.:) Circa 1975 on the Case.

Some great knives to catch up on the last few days...unsurprisingly many from the usual suspects. Todd, that new fixed blade is a beaut.

This probably won't surprise anyone...

The photo does that knife justice Joe - stunning !:)

:eek::eek::eek::eek::eek:

Was going to call you out for Copy Cattin' and give you demerits Gevo, until I noticed the crossed punches. I then realized that the poor little NYKC Barlow was probably just home sick. ;):D:D

Good to see it getting' some pocket time !:D:D:D:D:D:D

I think I might just carry this one for the rest of the week... We will see if I have the will power for such a drastic change of behavior. :D

Love the covers on that NYK, Gev. Actually, I like the whole Barlow!

Dean, sorry I missed your post a while ago! Thank you so much for the compliment and Primble does fine work indeed!!!

Eric

I think behavior can be easily changed with a strong emotional component attached. And that beauty can sure supply that in spades:D;):D

Beautiful Yellow Rose there Daddyo! Good to see you post, I bet you've been carrying that one a lot.

We will see Gev, I have the will power of a lemming and an extreme case of knife attention deficit disorder. I do LOVE the knife though, so you may be right. ;)

Thank you GT, I really like that swayback. That recent thread about the potential comeback has gotten me a bit giddy.
Thanks, Erik. :) I hope you can find a nice swayback jack soon.

Very cool naked Imperial GT !!!:thumbup::D
... That naked Imperial looks good my friend, I've had a few like that myself. I seem to recall Richards actually selling a few like that....
Thanks, Primble and Jack. :) davek14 apparently rescued that Imperial from "the grave" and sent it to me, and it was the only knife that I took to Spain with me last Christmas. The Imperial and I are now experienced international jet-setters.

Working all weekend, so having to go through this thread at speed, on my coffee break I'm afraid :( Lots of beautiful knives folkks. Hope everyone is having a good weekend
…
Carrying my forum knife today

Working all weekend sounds less than ideal. :( As usual, that stag jack looks great, Jack! But the advertisement behind it baffles me! More unfamiliar British idioms, I suppose (like “chalk and cheese”). What are “engine joints”?

thanks!
it's one of my favorites to carry- perfect size for me... plus, I've got a couple more 44ots as back ups if I were to lose it. :D
I like all the blades, but I hardly ever use the spey... the lil wharncliff makes me feel like a wildcat, the sheepfoot is easy to pinch open- even with one hand, and the clip is ground super thin. the 1095 on old timers is legendary
Thanks for the follow-up, george. :) I didn’t realize that your 44 OT was a Schrade USA with 1095; congrats! Mine is one of the stainless Taylor-Schrades from China.

Getting loaded up on caffeine to take my nephew and goddaughter to see Santa.

Stag-covered Peanuts for the holidays are tasty treats, Bill!

Couple EOs...

That Northwoods EO is a real wonder, Eric!

…
Felt like totin' pointy butts today. Both of them got some minor cosmetic issues corrected and introduced to Apple Cider Vinegar. I will post some updated pics of them soon.:

Holy quail quills, Primble, I can’t imagine knives getting much better than that Utica EO teardrop!!!:thumbup:

Those are awesome! I love that EO!
Bill, didn’t you used to have a fantastic old EO teardrop jack (that might have been your avatar for awhile?)? Do you still have that beauty??

…
Edit - I found a couple of pics of a very young Jack Black leaning on a couple! :D

…
Fantastic old photographs, Jack!!:thumbup: Aren’t they examples of the daguerreotypes I’ve heard about?? :D:p

An old friend today.

Some very distinctive stag on your BF knife, Sean; nice!!

…
Had the ol' Edge Mark stockman with me yesterday and today.

FBC and Gev, those are a couple of superb old knives! Wow!:thumbup:

…
I went with the #79 Smooth Ivory Bone today. It is not so old, but it looks like it could be!!:D

Invigorating ivory on that sleeveboard, Ron!

Slipping these two in my pockets today :)

A dynamic duo of “Dark Knights” today, Jack (or whatever day you carried them – I’m sort of a time traveller in this thread)!

Love the Joker, donn! (Look at my knives posted below to see why. ;))

Frosty morning
Great fall foto, including a couple of splendid knives and that amazing playhouse!:thumbup:

Case Sowbelly "special factory order" #TB3339 with yeller covers and CV.
Sweet sowbelly, powernoodle! That’s a pattern that completely surprised me; I had no idea I’d enjoy it as much as I do!

Some of the knives I'm carrying this week appear below.
A Joker I bought in Valencia, Spain:

It's my EO GEC 15 Scout in my pocket today. I bought this a couple years ago right after finding out what an EO notch was! A great knife.

All great picks as always GT!

Nice to see the Ivory yellow nicely over time. The 77 has really taken some use since the beginning Erik :)

Carried one of the newest, in love with this bowie blade and that great westinghouse micarta.
