James Corbett was a British colonial living in India early in the last century (1900s), and the greatest hunter of man-eaters who ever lived. They had a habit back then of naming famous man-eating leopards and tigers, such as "The Bachelor of Powalgarh" and "The Man-eating Leopard of Rudraprayag." His book, "The Man-eaters of Kumaon" is one of the most thrilling collection of true adventures ever written.

This is why I love this place...very interesting and i will look him up. Interestingly, I am reading a novel set in India right now...The Rains Came...by the masterful Louis Bromfield.

Using my IXL to turn pages;)
