What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

Primble That's a beautiful thing to add to that impressive collection!
But I believe you must have forgotten the rules, no thumb thingamybobs allowed! LOL :D:eek::D

Did not occur to me Ron ! Maybe since it is a can opener/cap lifter/scraper blade Boy Scout Approved ( in the 1930's) thingamabob it might squeak by.;):D:D:D

Nice pic of the Tip Top, BTW.:D

Primble, thanks for the compliment!:) Seriously, just kidding about the thingamabob. I think we all will want to see some more of this beautiful Catt. :D

A poor pic due to the daylight being a thing of 3 hours or so now, but I hope it gives an idea of the feather effect on this horn handle.

Robert Klaas, Kissing Cranes Germany. c 9cm/3.5" Sunk-joints, single-spring. Maybe 50s/60s? Seems near unused, but it's going to be:D:thumbup:

Can we see this with the blades open?

Glad to have this to add to my Catt collection. There is a picture and description of it in my 1930's Cattaraugus Catalog, where they call it the famous Whitt-L-Craft. :)

Wow! I'm jealous!

MEOW! :)

I didn't really have time to clean this one up before the pic. I just noticed how it's covered in dust and debris. Unfortunately boss man doesn't really approve the whole knife photo shoot during work thing.

It's clearly getting used! I've had to take a few hurried shots myself - and I'm self-employed! :D Think of the pics you'll be able to take when your dad retires! :D

I still lose myself
In that orange glowing moment
A motionless spell of rapture
Though distance lay between us
A memory had been captured

Very nice Gev :)

Baldy Washington Jack for me today! :D

Thank you Jack and Al for the comments on my new old Catt. The Washington Jack may not have a butt stamp, however, the bone looks very nicely done !

An old Challenge Cutlery Co. (1899-1928) teardrop jack that I worked over:

Wow. Really wonderful piece of cutlery Rob, the before and after are astounding! What kind of shield would you call that?

Primble what a great looking knife and a good job cleaning it up. The color on those covers is right up my ally.

Here is what I have in my pocket today.
