Jack, I have an affinity for the sowbelly pattern, and that one is quite striking - a "humble" sowbelly puttin' on the ritz!!
Holy Velociraptor veins, Evan, that knife is sublime!!
Dean, I suspect you're correct about divergent jigging, rather than my convergent jigging; I think I look at knives backwards from what I'm supposed to. Isn't the knife in question called a barehead style, with no bolster on the end opposite the pivot? But, to me, a more accurate term, and one that makes more sense to my scrambled brain, would be barebutt jack! Thanks, GT. I thought it was "divergent," must be a perspective kind of thing.

Wow, Tom, big iron for the big city!! Triple threat!
I'm too "wet behind the ears" knife-wise to be of much help, Jeff....Hey, I've been calling this a dogleg, but it really has characteristics of a dogleg, a eureka and a gunstock (though with round bolsters).
What would you call this pattern? Help, please!

A Keen Kutter Office Knife in my watch pocket; in real life, I'm quite sure the blade on the left is a spey blade, and I hate to think why that's a choice on a knife for office use
