Taking a trip to country. You cant believe how wet, dark and miserable it is here.

The land of the midnight sun is also the land of the mid-day dark, I guess. I can only imagine.
What's the knife with the riveted handle? (Nice handle.)

Not being able to get out of the house, I haven't been totin anything for a while. Today I decided it's been too long and threw this one in my pocket. Old pics, but they're better than indoor pics for now.

Nice gift knife and #73 Harry:thumbup:

Back with my beloved Ancient today :)

Easy to understand the beloved part Jack !:thumbup::)

Well yeah it is the land of the Midnight Sun but also Daytime Dark...and let me tell you this year is so grim because there is no snow (maybe in Lapland..) at all but rain. Out of the city it's just a sea of mud like some WW1 battlefield, the cars are all drenched in mud and bitumen from the road as studded tyres mash it all up when there's no snow. Blurgh!:barf:

Lemmy, those are a really fine pair of Blackwoods, the 83 in particular is a big favourite of mine especially the drop-point. What a practical and elegant carry.

Due to the relentless dark I took the Groove Train today....:D:D

Thanks, Will

The Eureka Jack has a lot going for it: curved main blade, straight-edge secondary blade, 3/4 size secondary, wraparound spring, and a handle that works for both draw cuts and slicing cuts. I love the handle coloration on this one as well.

Here's a photo taken just after the sun went down:

And here's one taken when I still had full light:

Ken K, I love that "XX" shield on that Whittler!!

Haven't carried this one in a while. This was the Davison that started it all for me...

3-3/4", ATS34, black and gold dyed Box Elder Burl, #1207
