What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

That's a sleek little slicer! I like the tipped bolsters and the shield especially!

Thank you, Jake, The shield really completes the look, I think.

Rdaneel, I'm not always a fan of tipped bolsters, but they sure do look great on that Camillus!

Thanks, SSS. Grabbed my eye because of the bolsters when I saw it.

Dean that is wonderful..how old is that one? I agree with Jake, love the tip cap bolsters.

Thanks, Tim. I think I figured out it was from the 70s when I first got it.

Great photo of a top notch Case stockman! CV blades with those handles, right?

Lost this beauty today while putting chains on my tires. Circled back to look and it had walked away in a store parking lot. Sad sad day, one of my favs. Old pic in honor of a beautiful knife.

So sorry to hear you lost this one, Drew. Some folks do turn stuff into the store lost and found. Sigh.

I decided to carry Huck with the Prez today.

No! Very sorry to hear that Drew! Did you check with the store, maybe, just maybe someone turned it in???

I am carrying the GEC #77 today.

Super classy as always. I feel like some of those 77s show bolster patina and some don't. Did different coverings have different materials?

Some were all steel (bolsters and liners) and some were all Nickel Silver. I have a clip 77 in Red Sawcut Bone that is all Nickel Silver. Cory Hess gave it to me with the description that it was GEC's best fit and finish ever: a claim that is completely true and still captivates me. This knife is probably carried more than any other I own.

The Nickel Silver bolsters tend to wear a bit more but they are forever classy. A truely perfect knife.

Fantastic knives showing today! You folks have wonderful taste.

Ted, really neat scout! Looks like a grown up version of a boy scout's knife. Yea for you and Craftsman!!

BrotherJim, If you see this can you tell us more about the Lambfoot.
Is that a buffalo horn? What's the blade length? Who made it? Is it consider a senator knife?...I like it!

Back to the pruner today.

This one punches (cuts) way above it's weight. Terrific power in a very slender package.

Thank you !!! I'm happy with it after I massaged it a bit. The blade wasn't well centered and the Water Buffalo Horn scales weren't very flush with the backspring. In fact, the backspring was misshapen I might say and I had to file it down where it was sticking up in the middle. I was a little worried about getting too far into the backspring "file" work, but it came out just fine. Now I'm pleased ... and I made it mine LOL.

Thanks Primble. When the sun is out even I can get lucky.

Thanks Jack!

Rob you really have to stop posting pictures because that 92 is calling to me. I keep telling myself I am going to slow down on the buying then I see more pictures.

Someone posted a SBJ so I bought that, then someone posted a Farmer Boy so one of those is arriving anytime today and we still have 85s coming.

Does it ever end? =)

There was this big, bright, yellow sphere in the sky today... almost looked familiar - LOL! First sunny day I can remember since first week of November!

Liten Bror out for a walk in the glorious, warm sunlight:
