Digging this Hammer Brand today. I think it's WWII era, but I'd like to learn more about it. I have read up on the Hammer tang stamps so I think this is 1938-1941 potentially.

Congrats on getting an antique amber sawcut TC, Tim! :thumbup::thumbup: Is it a single clip like Sarah's and Primble's, or did you find a clip/pen? (The clip/pen antique amber sawcut is probably the only Charlow I'd be motivated to own.) Astounding Erickson!
For some reason, I usually think that wood handles are rather plain, prosaic, pedestrian. Then I see knives like pearl2291's stunning snakewood or Ron's elegant ebony, and I realize what an idiot I am!
