What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

By the end of the day, I found I was carrying three knives.
One, we won't talk about. But the others are fair game:

This Opinel DIY, a gift from Thom (scruffuk). I often carry it in the side pocket of my carpenter jeans. I did so today.

I also had this Case teardrop jack in TruSharp stainless and 6.5 stagbone:

Hope your well Gev:thumbup: sounds like you had a long day...tile work is hard, my knees scream just at the thought of it:D Glad the Opie was there to help. Really like the Case backpocket but your wonderful vintage Schrade is a show stopper as well:thumbup:

I liked your coined phrase...Marklo;)

Have a great weekend my friend:)

We got quite a bit done and only 260 tile to go:eek: The Opinel sliced through those bags of thinset and even helped trim up some holes on the kitchen cabinet install. The no# 8 rocks! Hope your doing well and the body is healing.

I better get with Mark and order a knife before he gets to famous :D

You have a great weekend to my friend. Mine is always great when I get to hang out with my sister:D

Thank you Sarah, this and a #76 Mule Jack had been elusive for some time and I have been fortunate to acquire both in the last month:)

Have a Happy and Blessed Easter everyone.

I agree with Sarah, fantastic pick up on the Grinling Paul. That Mule jack has a long standing history and one of the best shields :D

Hope you all have a great weekend.
That 73 is always one of the finest Brett :D Hope your weekend is going well too.

Tim: that end shot is terrific, shows the the scale grain real well and the liners do the whole knife justice.

Thanks Steve, there's some really tight weave on that CF cover that just captivates you. Sweet swayback, that patina is what all hope to achieve~ Nice an' steel grey.

Tim - back to the coaster I see HAHA

Don't hate on the coaster buddy ;) You've been picking up a slew of 85's lately, very nice stag~

Tim - A super nice Dowell there!

Thanks Ron, now that's a knife! That Aitor is awesome.

Congrats on another splendid Dowell, Tim!

- GT

Thank you GT, I've been lucky enough to have good friends who have let go of theirs xD

Tim - that orange really does pop and the weave look is very handsome. Fantastic knife. I really do need to get my hands on one of his knives.
You do indeed! Bret is un-paralleled for the quality he brings. Love the wood transitions on that custom fixed.

That's a great looking knife, Tim! Of course, the photography shows it well.

Thank you Dean :), two very fine 15's you've got there. The double bolster ebony 15 was actually my very second GEC knife.

The loadout for Saturday

Good question:confused::confused: I hope all is well with our friend! I hope he is just primblizing a few new ones. If he does not show up by Sunday I will shoot him an email.

Primble is getting his boat ready so that he can drown some more worms:eek: he thinks he's a fisherman:confused:;)
Hope you are doing well and not working too hard buddy.:)

In keeping with my sports theme this week I have some gold and black onboard today, intended to represent the University of Missouri. Coincidentally it is also my alma mater :).

I think I'll carry this one for a couple days. Have a great Easter Sunday!
