What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

Your 77 is looking good Ron and that Aitor is certainly is a differant looking knife .. Let us know how you like it after a while.

Harry

Harry - Thanks for the compliment. :) This Aitor is a big knife, it may end up in the kitchen.

Congrats on that beautiful pair of 73s, Ron! Thanks for the compliment about my Colt teardrop. :) That is one of the sturdiest knives I have; it's a bomb-proof tank! I don't have an Aitor, but I think you'll see stylistic resemblance between your new Aitor and this Cudeman I picked up in Toledo, Spain.

Gary - Thank you for the compliment and thank you for the comparison photo. :) The knives are definitely 1st cousins.

Wonderful knives and pictures everyone:thumbup:

My Ivory Fish Barlow and a new arrival, a #38 Grinling with amazing jigged bone:thumbup::cool:

Paul - That is just a wonderful combo you have there my friend.

Thanks Ron, now that's a knife! That Aitor is awesome.

Happy Easter.

Bob - Love that Smooth Oiled Bone Fremont! Good to see you my friend! :)

Made it back home safe and sound, had this 77 along for the ride home. :D

Terrific knives everyone!

Thanks for the kind comment GT.

A couple of beauties there, Paul. That whittler is a production marvel and of course the Fish Barlow is a masterpiece.

Thank you Dean :), two very fine 15's you've got there. The double bolster ebony 15 was actually my very second GEC knife.

Thanks, Tim!

After having Friday off, today feels like Micarta Monday... :)

Happy Sunday everyone.

BRKT Little Creek, Northwoods Presidential

Great photo of those micarta beauties, Mike! Of course, I'm partial to the Presidential as I have one just like it. :)

Today's carry was a red jigged bone spear point TC Barlow.

Thanks Ron, I have a variety of blade shapes with this duo;) Your sawcut red bone clip is a beautiful Barlow:thumbup:

Thanks Dean, I'm with you on the Grinling Whittler being a production marvel, it amazes me the tolerance levels GEC achieved on this knife and Mark's Fish Barlow is a joy to carry:)

Duncan and I spoke the other night about the build quality of the TC's, what a joy it is to carry such quality knives. Your jigged bone spear harkens back to a golden age:thumbup:

It has been all camel bone lately.

Fantastic, Travman! I'm with you 2 out of 3 most days, the same #25 in blue camel bone, with a #38 Farmer's Jack in smooth white bone. :)

Here's a picture of my #25 from earlier today, during our first hike up a favorite nearby trail since last fall:

Thanks to a plumbing emergency and Easter bearing down, I feel like I need a whole weekend just to recuperate from this weekend... :o

Will try to finish making post entries for the hat in the EDC GAW tonight, though I'm stuck using my cell connection since Comcast decided to take the holiday off as well. :grumpy: And further and further behind on this thread I get...

Today's Sports Challenge coupled with Synthetic Sunday carry. Took a bit of creativity to make it work, but I managed to fit both bills:

(OK, OK, so I had to cheat a little to find a red synthetic-handled knife. :D Witness the mark side...)

On second thought, I should have used the Garantie for my NBA team, the Miami Heat. I've got plenty of natural handles in red.... Oh well.
