Amazing knives! Is the Case a Bose knife or is that standard issue? The grinds are fantastic!

I thought I'd carry my Arthur Wright Lambsfoot in ebony today (if you'd like to win one like this please enter my giveaway) :)

Nice knife, Jack.

After four months daily carry of a Presidential, I realized that I need to prepare for warm weather. That means a smaller and lighter main daily carry. My scratted Ancient is probably going to win the contest.

Good to see you back Mr. Jack - hoping the back pain keeps easing. I am liking that Genuine Lambsfoot.:)

Totin' a 1955 era Genuine Ivory John Primble Belknap Germany Jack or Sleeveboard or reverse Sleeveboard, or whatever one might like to call it. 3.25 inches closed, stamped main blade, pinned oval shield - glad to have it for my Primble collection. :

They don't come with more character than that Cut Co Ron, what a beauty:thumbup::thumbup::thumbup:

Paul - Thanks my friend :D

Smashing Ron! ;)

Jack - Thank you for the compliment my friend. I have been having to make time to post the last couple of weeks. Sorry to hear about your back problems. Sincerely hoping that you are on the mend now. I have a weakness for that A Wright Lambsfoot so I will definitely be entering your most gracious GAW.:)

That has a rare beauty, Primble!

Thank you. I really like your fixed blade - did you create the patina or did it come that way - looks great !

Goodness Primble...wow!

Thank you my friend - Radish and old ones trip my trigger. ;):) My great uncle's initials was J.F. - I think I remember him saying he lost a knife like that in the war - just sayin'. ;):D

I noticed Deskil's knife had my great uncle's first initial on it too. ;)

I would like to call it "mine". :D

...
GT, thanks for the rundown, lots of good knives posted over the last few days.

I'm carrying Davison #1201 today....

...
GT
Your sowbelly looks the treat! I always appreciate your thoughts and the re-cap of which I had usually missed a few
...
Thanks, Jake & Gev, but remember that my "rundowns" or "re-caps" are VERY subjective, including the knives posted that day (or past couple of days) that happen to grab my attention for whatever reason. And a knife that doesn't move the needle for me at all one day might send me red-lining a week later!
Your Davisons sure are standouts, Jake! Is this one a drop point? (I also envy how clean your gravel is! ;))

...
Thanks GT, Impressive Imperial :)
Thanks, Tom. :) Can you believe I almost missed your alliteration!

A couple of slick, sleek pairs, JSCHENK!

...
Lately it has either been the 77 barlow or the 15 sheepsfoot. So, this morning I figured I would show the presidential some love.
3Z9iQTj.jpg
Erik, I like your 77 and 15, but for whatever reason, I always associate you with this Presidential! So I'm thrilled to see it again!

Harry
...
I like the covers on your 2 Rough Riders , expecially the Canoe .
Harry
Harry, that's a spectacular example of the old saying that "good things come in threes"!
Thanks for the cover compliment; RR does that checked bone really well, I think. :)

The triptych is complete:

1) Dunlap in Blackwood CF
2) Oeser in Black Paper Micarta w/ Gibeon meteorite shield
3) Jalomo in Green Canvas Micarta

Holy Trinity!!:thumbup: Congrats on that superlative trio, David!

That's a seductive knife with unique covers! But I don't recognize it; would you be willing to provide some details on make, model, cover materials some time?

...

Today I went with one old one and one new one both in ebony.

Ken K.
That ebony looks sophisticated at any age, Ken, and the coping blade on the Eureka jack really snagged me for some reason!

...
My Presidential played second fiddle to the Farmer's Jack today. Jack had some work to do in the patio garden.

That's a stupendous "power couple", Dean!

My recent new addition of Atelier Perceval L09 with desert ironwood scales

Singular, snazzy friction folder, sshakari!

deskil, you certainly have some stately, stellar knives!

I had this ole Schrade Cut Co Barlow keeping me company today

Ron, I enjoy shiny new knives as much as anyone, but the vintage ones like your Barlow are the ones I find surprisingly significant!

...
I had a SAK Farmer with me today.

Simple, solid, sensual, superb! (I'm a Farmer fanboy.)

Busy this week, trying to get everything wrapped up so I can take a 4 day weekend. It is Paige's first birthday, we are going to spend it in Yellowstone NP. Alox lumberjack today,

Hope you have a safe and sensational trip/birthday celebration! Your green Lumberjack is splendid! (Maybe I'm not a Farmer fanboy per se, but am enamored with Alox and saws.)

An old friend today
Looks like a seriously satisfying old friend!

Smashing, spotless, surpassing knife, Jack (and, to me at least, a fascinating photo thereof)!!

Super spearpoint Barlow, AusLoX!

...
My carry today, an old KaBar.

I feel like such a knife novice! I hadn't even considered seasonal changes in EDC, but I'm not a very fashion-forward kind of guy to begin with! :o Hate to see your Presidential(s) getting a vacation, Dean, but your scratted Ancient is a sterling summer substitute!

Winchester scout with my City Knife today.

Sparkling selection, Tom!! Congrats on the Blues win; is there some hard feelings history in St. Louis/Chicago hockey? The highlights I saw featured lots of assault and battery!

That pair (and photo) is something else, Gev! What is the blade shape of the fixed blade with the J.F. handle called? Congrats on your early harvest!

Congrats on the new model Pioneer, Fausto! I'd love to hear your (and EARL's?) first impressions of a Pioneer with scissors.

Super sweet knife, zolthar! What model is that?

I would like to call it "mine". :D
LOL! :D I hear what you're saying, Mike!

I've been wearing shorts which means I want a super light and thin knife to carry.

image_zpsedfdi1mh.jpeg
Superior blue Cadet, Travman, but if I were the one wearing shorts, I'd be wary of that plant!;)

More knives I'm carrying this week include:
a MAM sheepsfoot (not intentionally chosen for Wooden Wednesday, but there it is):
