What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

I'm still carrying this Jack master, but now it has a real nice contrast with a naturally patinad blade and a forced patina blade

Once again terrific knives everyone!!

Thanks for the comments GT.

Very nice picture Jeff.

Today I went with one old one and one new one both in ebony.

Have a good one!

Apologies for my long absence friends - certainly the longest since I first started posting here :o As some of you know, I've been laid low with sciatica over the past few weeks. I'm still sore, and it's going to take me a long while to catch up, but I've been carrying my Radio Jack over the past couple of weeks, really love this knife :)

So glad to see you post, Jack. And a great knife to carry during your convalescence. You have been missed!

Lately it has either been the 77 barlow or the 15 sheepsfoot. So, this morning I figured I would show the presidential some love.

The Presidential is looking good, Erik!

My Presidential played second fiddle to the Farmer's Jack today. Jack had some work to do in the patio garden.

Good to see you back and safe Jack!

Welcome Back Mr. Jack :), you have been missed.

Welcome back, Jack! I was thinking just this morning that I haven't seen a post from you in a while.

I am glad you are back Jack !!! Like your Radio Jack too !!

So glad to see you post, Jack. And a great knife to carry during your convalescence. You have been missed!

Thank you very much, my kind friends :)

The triptych is complete:

1) Dunlap in Blackwood CF
2) Oeser in Black Paper Micarta w/ Gibeon meteorite shield
3) Jalomo in Green Canvas Micarta

Very impressive David

GORGEOUS! GORGEOUS! Absolutely GORGEOUS! That sheath is quite beautiful too.
One of these days I am going to own a Fidleback!

Thanks

That's actually a "Patch" knife from W.A. Surls. He apprenticed under Andy and currently still works for him as well.He has his own subforum here.
But I do think you should get a Fiddleback sooner rather than later.:D

sheath was made by Mark Condos. he posts here under the name "knifeleather"

Thanks, Dantone05 and dispatch184!

I've mostly stopped being surprised that it's always in my pocket. After the first few days I stopped putting it in my knife chest -- it just lives on top, with my keys and stuff, to save time. :D

I'm carrying Davison #1201 today....

Every month or so, I see a Davison and go "Oh, my! THIS is the Davison to end all Davisons -- the one I'd love to own someday." And then a few weeks later, I see another one that tops it.

This one? This one is stunning. You're a lucky man, Jake!

@Jack Black, Really great to see ya back around these parts! I hope this means that you are feeling much better.

I had a SAK Farmer with me today.
