I'm carrying my "Coal Miners". As you can see from my avatar I've spent time underground.

When rma100 had his 47 SFO run, I tried to convince him to call it the "coal miner". It was black, had a hounds tooth shield that reminded me of a continuous miner bit, and was refined in a modest way. Bob-it is a coal miner's "goin to church" knife.
When I saw a new maker's ability to put artwork onto the frame of a friction folder, I thought this could be a tribute to the four generations before me, those I've worked with, and those that have passed. He nailed it.

These are my "Coal Miners".

Two great-looking knives and a very interesting back-story, thanks for sharing it

I made a last-second switch just as I was leaving the house from a smooth bone Utica to the sheepsfoot cousin of your Barlow to accompany my big Camillus trapper:

Good looking IXL Barlow, Tsar!

Lovely pairing

Thanks, Jack!

Nice Dowell, John. The SigSauer is pretty sweet, too!

This morning I got this White Owl in the mail; it's been in my pocket since. Single spring double-ended jacks trip my trigger. An older GEC pattern, but new to me!

As always very nice knives everyone!

Thanks for the comments Gary and Dean.

Terrific stag Ken. Very nice Schrade Mike. I'm liking that Rodgers Ernie.

My knives today.

Have a very nice evening all. For crying out loud, it's snowing out as I type this. :grumpy:
