My first slippie purchase in too many years...... OLD, and USED......just the way I like 'em. And carbon steel. This one WILL see lots of pocket duty:

Thanks Gev, great looking pair you have  :)

Been busy gearing up for hiking season, will have some great shots of my knife in a week, the pesky forest might get in the way of my knife photography though. I apologize in advance :D

My 74 Trapper is in my pocket today. I thought those combo would be more bulky in the pocket than it really is. A great set of blades. I think I'll leave the coins and O1 steel blanks at home though...

I love the covers on that 74. Cocobolo?
And what is the o1 for?

My first barlow, a yankee just like me!

You picked a good one!
I carried mine again and knocked out another little chunk of the AT.

Good eye, it's my most figured Cocobolo I own.
The red really comes though when sunlight hits it just right.

The O1 was from an old job when we had to cut a few inches off a whole stack of ground O1 barstock. Having owned a few O1 knives I decided to horde the cuttings. Still trying to figure out what to do with them...

That case green bone looks great.
Regarding the tl-29, the guy my friend got it from expanded a little bit on the mod.

Thanks for the repost, I somehow missed the first time. I can't believe that wood just came that way. Then again, it does "look like it grew there". :p

Got your email today, I'll hit up the office supplies store for some packing materials tomorrow and then your 6318 will be en route. :D

another day behind the desk.

Great knife and great mug.

Great knives everyone!!! I didn't post when the forum was making adjustments.

Great TC and great stag, and is that a #25 with EO I see hidden away? What kind of bone is that?

That is a lovely old CraftSchrade, OLB. I am loathe to call it "old" given that it's only a year younger than I am, but I guess at some point you can't deny reality. :o

I'm carrying something a little less beautiful today, my new Camillus TL-29.

It may not be shiny or silky or elegant but those big slabs of carbon steel and the overall form of the knife are still classically beautiful. Plus you can do things with that Camillus that no "pretty knife" would dare try. :D

Micarta peanuts with O1 blades?

Sounds like some fun is going to be had!! Looking forward to some great forest communing shots;)

I'm confused SSS; your knife looks to be in nice shape. What is "AT"?

Oh, the Apalachian Trail. I'm hoping to hike the GA portion(in sections) by the end of the year.

That's great to hear Tsar! And that o1 peanut sounds like a great idea. With a secondary coping blade of course...
