My cat is currently passed out on the couch so I grabbed a pic with him too.

Nice little 22, and what a beautiful cat. He looks better suited to winter weather, though. :)

First day with the Farmer's Jack went well. Surprisingly handy in the kitchen.

Good morning folks. :D

Good morning to you my friend. Glad to see you posting Bob! Our prayers are always with you. :)

Jake - Please bring that Bose to the rendezvous. I can't wait to put my paws on that beauty! :D

While I am not totin' it just yet, I have been in a serious CE and CF session with this Fremont Jack this morning. :D

Oh definitely, he turns into a lazy bum when it gets hot outside :)

I'm totin' the 22 again while working in the garden, these plants don't mind the heat.

^^ Thankfully I had swallowed my coffee before seeing that or it may have ended up all over my screen... :)

Speaking of being lazy, that's the plan for today! Nothing on the books except to cook some chili later on in the dutch oven on the grill. Haven't carried the canoe in a while, so it hopped in the pocket today.

Either way GT, I love seeing your creation lol. It's better than posting a pic with a knife and coin, it's very original!
Thanks, Jake, and you've given me an idea for a whittling project - I should try whittling some coins! :D

...
It is actually the same knife as the previous day next to the Bower, a 4" Klaas gunstock (I think of it as a gunstockman). Here's an earlier photo showing the whole mark side:

Thanks for the additional info about your "gunstockman", TB. ;) It's the one you mentioned in another thread as having totally different stag on the two sides?

Impressive couple of knives, Jack!

Been a bit under the weather lately so I haven't posted in a bit.
This one has quickly become one of my favorites.

Very handsome harness jack, Bob! Hope your health setback is temporary; it was great having you posting regularly again!

At the hospital today (currently grabbing lunch in the courtyard) awaiting the arrival of my kid! I'm carrying the 2016 Silver Eagle and Case Peanut my wife gave me for the occasion and the TC Barlow that will be the knife I carry during here special events and hopefully give to her when the time is right to continue to be carried. What a day!!!

Congratulations, Macchina! I hope, as Mr. McFeely in Mr. Rogers' neighborhood would say, it was a "Speedy Delivery". :D

I walked over to the Farmers Market and picked up some beets. A cicada landed on my head when I was setting up the photo and I gently placed him in the shot. Just as I was about to take the shot he flew away! Don't tell Primble;)

To my knowledge, I've lived for over 64 years without ever seeing a photo of beets. But, Gev, this is the second photo featuring beets I've seen in BF this week!!

...
I carried a favorite TC on my walk this morning. Now it's in the watch pocket. The other knife is my current EDC and a great summer carry for lightweight clothes.

Couple of great knives, Dean!

Super shot! ;)

Is this one of those "trick" Imperials??

...
For Stag Saturday it's a 14 Forum knife and an Eric's Jack.

That was/is a phenomenal pair of contemporaneous knives!

Another busy week is over, so it was time to hit the trails again. Tried to get to the top of a small mountain today, but the weather turned on us near the top, so we turned around and went back down. High winds and a mini snow storm were quite entertaining. Esky Zulu accompanied us with the LT Wright Bushcrafter. All in all, still a great day!
...
We also had quite a bit of luck on the hike today - Looks like we just missed meeting a furry new friend on the trail...
...
Interesting post, Mike; I finally understand where the "Crazy" part of your username comes from!!!:D And, speaking of usernames, congrats on yours changing color!

The buckaroo in bloodwood for me the last few days along with my Stag #73 (not pictured) the Sheepfoot on the buckaroo is a real work blade:thumbup:

Enjoy the weekend everyone!
That GEC 68 is sure an attractive frame, Paul; your Buckaroo is a beauty!

I usually don't double up but today it just seemed like the right thing to do. :D
SBJ and Boker Tree Barlow with main clip.

Dang! That's a dynamite daily double, Dan!!

...
Hope everyone is having a great weekend  I'm still up to my ears in work unfortunately :( Carrying my RJ today. Have a pleasant Sunday folks :)

Ah, the renowned Radio Jack!! I hope the work load starts subsiding soon, Jack.

Three cheers for your Farmer Jack challenge!

Good morning folks. :D

Great photo, Bob! But I can't identify the knife; was it a TL-29 once upon a time??

This weekend I've been carrying knives from a recent shopping spree:

Certainly seems like it. There were 12,000 of those knives run so who knows if they even made more than a token effort to match handles. Apparently they were just throwing them together already a third of the way through. Gives the knife a bit of a unique character, though, and made the decision rather easy choosing which of my three should become a user. It has a great blade selection and cuts like a demon, so I don't much mind the variance in stag.

I didn't get photos, but the gunstockman was with me along with my stag #18 yesterday. It's along for the ride again (with Osage 'yote) for Sunday, though it's not looking like I'm going to be able to get out anywhere near the woods or swamp today. I may have to swing by the "secret woods" for a trail walk, assuming the rain stays away.

Thanks a lot GT :) Me too, all work and no play makes Jack a dull (and somewhat exhausted) boy! :( ;)

Fantastic Zorro Barlow, I've been waiting for those to be available again here for a couple of years now! :)

Thank for posting the picture of your Zorro knife! I've been admiring that series of novelty barlows on a large online knife vendor's site for some time; very nostalgic. :)

Gary
The novelty barlow reminds me of my thus themed metal lunch box when I was a kid. I am flooded with feeling and memories

Thanks for the well wishes everyone. Just a cold setting me back for a bit. It just seems compounded given all my other issues, but back on track now. :D
Jake, that Bose Cattle Knife is stunning. Clearly not just a name change on the tang. The workmanship really shows through. Love that Curado too. My favorite reels, but your handle is on the wrong side. ;)
Ron, sweet looking Fremont with very even coloring.
Gary, thanks for the comments. The electrician's knife is a GEC #15. This one was an SFO for Steven Rice labeled STR*EK (Steven T. Rice Electrician Knife) and has OD Green Micarta covers. They also offered these in a sheepsfoot blade as well as the spearpoint.
