Thanks, fellas. There is something about slow-sipping a tasty beer and CF & CE some of your favorite knives that really helps settle the nerves. Surprisingly, the big plain Barlow was the recipient of most of the CF & CE both during and after the aforementioned crappy day. It has a lot of character and worked pretty well at dispelling excessive stress. Definitely going to see more pocket time.
TheFactor, you may want to blur/black out that Spydy from the second photo (and I say this as someone who has a PM2 clipped to a pocket nearly every day), or just crop it up some, and edit the post to replace the current version. The subforum's got a rule about modern folders. It's a pretty sainted rule on the porch and while I might not 100% agree with the rigidity of the enforcement (after all, as far as I'm concerned Spydy just took traditional concepts and added to them), the rules is the rules and the mods strike hard and fast 'round here.
I can snip snip it real quick and put it up on imgur for you or something if you can't make it work. Wouldn't want to lose that sweet denim micarta Northwoods or the neat little fixed blade because of a blanket one-hander ban.
