What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

Thank you Tom, another smashing combo :)

Thanks Jack!

Dang, dat dazzling double dose of dark, dusky, distinctive, delectable, dynamic dreamboats is downright dandy, Dom, I mean Tom! :D

Couple of other knives in my pockets this week are Case chestnut jigged bone CV models.

And on the kitchen table at home, just to admire and work on a little whittling project, is my other Case chestnut jigged bone CV knife, a sowbelly stockman (from Half/Stop)

Thanks for the info about the Joker GT, that knife really catches my eye every time I see it . And holy alliteration Batman! That was fantastic. I can't match it but that is a terrific trio of Case you have :).

...and I like that Beer Scout pattern, that handy Bark River and especially your pocket sheath.

Handle of that Montpellier is 4,53'' with a blade of 3,43''. For my regular EDC that's rather large. Weight is only 1,3 oz. Perfect cutter made of tough and very thinly ground XC75.

Thanks for the extra info ots, that is a very cool knife, looks to be a great slicer.

Super pair as always, Tom. I think I will take your lead and carry a FB today:D

Thanks Gev, looking forward to that, intrigued to see what FB you select :).

With the Mrs still in the hospital I've been carryin' a simple Jack, the nurse actually used it to cut tape when she fixed the dressing on her back from the fusion. No one minded me havin' it and while she was in surgery today I sat in her room and sharpened it, not an eyebrow was raised anywhere. One of the nurse's aides asked me to show him how to sharpen a knife so I held class. :)

Good shot of your Hayn' Helper. I've been tempted to pick one up; I like my #47 Vipers, and I like my #71 Bull Noses, and that seems like a nice combination of the two. (Plus, they still seem to be pretty available.)

Back to the Queen today. Thanks GT and Jack for the kind words about the Winchester. Ted, well wishes for your wife!

That is a sweet knife Gevo! Ivory and Desert Ironwood handles? :)

Well...how are you stranger?

It was made by Rinos. He used Stabilized Antler ( bolster ), Birch wood and Reindeer Antler tip. Blade forged by Yrjo Paravarsi himself ( now retired ) With 100 year old Olive wood and leather for the sheath in traditional style.

EDIT -- I need to get on board with an image hosting app. Uploading through tapatalk seems to kill photo quality.
