Wow, that steak is making me hungry!

I've been carrying this one. I picked it up recently, but until I cleaned it up some, I didn't realize it had these nice bone covers.

I've never really bonded with my white owl. The main blade rubs the liner and the bail was tight causing the secondary blade to bind when the bail was at the extreme end of its' travel. I know....I should have returned it, but I'm impatient! So I decided to remove the annoying bail and blue the blades. I'll carry it for a day or two, we'll see how that goes. Removing the bail and its' pin doesn't seem to have affected the blades security. I'm guessing there must be a hollow pin that the blade pivots on?

Little bit of post necromancy here - but I'm curious about how that knife turned out after removing the bail.

"Hello there mr. UPS guy, I have been expecting you!"

Finally pulled the trigger on ankermesser (small) with carbon blade and bubinga. Just got delivered to my working place.
Very impressive working blade, and I put it straight to my pocket. :)

Trying to catch up after missing a few days due to work, EXCELLENT knives and pics abound over the last 5 pages. Thank you everyone for posting.
